Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
Zoom is used to conduct office hours with students and for very large team meetings. It is primarily used by members of the class team but also by marketing to record webinars. It's also used for the monthly team meeting of 30+ attendees.
The class team started using it for students when Google Hangouts failed and the class team will switch to using Zoom for team meetings in the near future.

- Reliable connection.
- Easy to get started. Host shows up and attendees join via link provided.
- Great that you can share your screen and still have your face visible for attendees.
- It's very cumbersome that you have to download an app in order to use Zoom.
- It's hard to switch between multiple Zoom accounts
- Zoom costs more than the previous tool so that's not the greatest.
- Zoom can get slow if too many programs are open.
- Zoom is a lot more reliable than our previous tool.
- Google Hangouts and Crowdcast
Google Hangouts can fail if there are too many users. It's not a reliable tool anymore and I don't suggest using it for meetings larger than 3 people. Crowdcast is very reliable, user-friendly, and does polling BUT you cannot collaborate (talk live with) with attendees outside of chat.

Evaluating Zoom and Competitors
Yes - Google Hangouts. Customers were having problems getting into the hangouts and there was no customer support available to troubleshoot.

- Product Usability
The biggest factor was product reliability. We needed something that would not fail on us and cause problems for students.
I would have done it earlier before we were forced to do it.
