Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
We are an EdTech and to conduct educational live sessions, we decided to go with Zoom Conference. Actually, the functionalities are very well supported and it has many other features which I see solving a good amount of use cases for our main product. The support is nice and prompt most of time.
- It is very easy to get onboard. User Experience is nicely set up.
- Very light download and installation.
- Many functionalities are there which are not confusing.
- With the wide variety of features its competitors possess, Zoom needs to work on that.
- Zoom needs to give a download option for many of the things that happen during a session.
- Device support is not very well mentioned.
- Positive - We planned to build our own platform and deciding to go with Zoom saved us a lot of engineering costs and helped us to launch on time.
- Positive - It's very easy to use, training costs are much less.
- Negative - If we wanted to increase the usage to other domains, Zoom has created hurdles and caused us inefficiency costs.
Zoom is very lightweight, easy to install. Although Hangouts is the lightest, easiest of all. But, Hangouts is not the best option for business. Zoom has many functionalities but not as much as Cisco WebEx. Cisco WebEx beats Zoom on breadth (no. of functionalities) but, Zoom beats Cisco on depth (strong functionalities).
