Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Zoom is being used for virtual conference calls with different departments between buildings, and we also have been trying to explore its use for "virtual field trips" and having presentations by experts in their field that do not require travel.

Extremely easy to use and set up. Can control audio/video by default for invited participants.

Alternatives Considered

Skype

More stable and better connectivity during calls. Easier to invite and use with others compared to issues with Skype's usernames and contact list.

Likelihood to Recommend

Zoom is great for business or education to have communication virtually and remove the need to travel. It is extremely easy to send meeting links and access to begin a call.
