Overall Satisfaction with Zoom

It is used mostly to hold synchronous classes or virtual meetings. Having two campuses we constantly need to communicate with each other via virtual meetings.
  • Video and audio transmission is fairly smooth and relatively free from interruptions.
  • Zoom makes it easy to invite other users.
  • Users can join via computer, a mobile device or by phone. It is very flexible.
  • The ability to share the screen is tremendously helpful for presentations.
  • Make it easier to install plug-ins.
  • Reduce the number of ways to start a meeting. Having multiple options can be confusing.
  • Provide better user guide for first-time users.
  • Saves travel time as staff from two locations can easily meet now online.
  • Increased our number of hybrid courses, as some courses use Zoom meetings.
  • Increased our online course offerings as many courses use Zoom for office hours and Q&A sessions.
I have not used it yet.
Zoom is smoother and it is so much easier to invite attendees. It is a bit more confusing to use other tools. Zoom is also having better audio and video quality.
Zoom is very useful for synchronous meetings, including classes, guest lectures, etc. The free version allows meetings up to 40 minutes, which suffices for many meetings.
