In my opinion, when contracting with Zoom Workplace be cautious of the terms and adding subscriptions later on

For the most part we just have Zoom Workplace pro licenses for video conferencing. We recently tested out webinar and large meeting and have been periodically using the large meetings. We discovered we do not have a use case for the webinar.

As far as business problems, it solves our need to meet with colleagues in different states and countries. However, Zoom Workplace has recently caused business problems from a financial standpoint for our organization with unclear billing and contract agreements that have led to overpayment since October. In our experience, we went down every avenue possible to rectify the situation to no avail, no customer success manager was willing to fix the situation, despite the fact that they admitted a trial version would have been provided for free for a month, but because we paid for it, the subscription was added to our 3-year contract which was not made clear during purchase.

In our experience, Zoom Workplace failed to respond to our requests to have this issue mediated by the better business bureau, NYS consumer protection bureau, or the NYS attorney generals office. We are looking into other options for video conferencing to move away from Zoom Workplace at the end of our contract.
