Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace

We use Zoom Workplace for all incoming and outgoing calls (which there are alot of, as we have over 10,000 clients), as well as for Team Chats and Video Calling both internally and with our third party vendors and clients. We use the auto-receptionist and call queues functions, and it has been a great improvement over our previous phone system.

Pros

  • Video Calls (1 on 1 and Group)
  • Setup of Phone System - very easy to configure
  • Integration of AI - using it for things that actually make sense

Cons

  • Some settings can be difficult to locate, as there are many similarly titles categories
  • Audio lag when using Remote or Virtual Desktops
  • Detailed workflows that can be sent out to our internal staff regarding new features
  • Cost Savings for Phone System
  • Ease of Updates to Phone System (New hires, changes Numbers, etc.)
Meeting Summaries and AI Call Summaries have been a huge help to allow us to stay in the moment, and not focus as much on taking notes during calls and meetings
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager)
So much easier to use Zoom Workplace - Cisco was overkill for the size of our organization and needed too much specialized training and IT experience to manager

The phone software works well for our company of 50 staff, may be more difficult to manage for very large organizations with many call queues and auto receptionists.
Video calls have worked very well internally and externally, and very rarely do third parties have any difficulty joining our meetings (unlike some other software).
