Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace

We are an international society and so do not have the option to meet regularly in person. We also have numerous committees that meet monthly, and so Zoom Workplace is our platform of choice for conducting committee and leadership calls.

Pros

  • Sharing your screen stays on the screen you want to show, so can work on other items in the background
  • Good chat function
  • Blurring background and other background options, especially for WFH

Cons

  • Sharing multiple screens at once if trying to compare documents with those on the call
  • Would be good to be able to Zoom Workplace into someones screen when they are sharing
  • Allows our Board to see each other which leads to better communication on calls
  • Has saved thousands being able to move an in person meeting onto Zoom Workplace
  • Allowed our org to conduct webinars easily

If we have a very large group on a call and suddenly people are on two screens, that does get difficult. However, that would be with any platform I believe.

Definitely well suited for groups of 12 or less, who understand the chat feature and know how to mute.
