Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace

I use Zoom Workplace as my default virtual meeting client. I purchased the Pro version as I make many virtual calls each week. The additiona,l functionality and features are worth the cost. The connections stay strong, even in hotel rooms with dodgy wifi. The UI is intuitive and on point for my needs as a host or an attender. The integration with Safari, Chrome, and other browsers requires an extension, but it works reliably. afterwards.

Pros

  • Provides an AI transcript of the call, and includes talking points, action items, and other ways to mark up the transcript.
  • Access to "Zoom Rooms' is a great tool for large groups to work virtually off-site and then report back in for feedback.
  • Zoom provides connections via phone or internet using a wide range of toll-free numbers. I have called in via my cell, and while the network support is often too weak to allow for video, the audio is great.

Cons

  • I use another tool to capture my transcripts and video of the calls. Zoom features lag behind, IMHO, other products that do this.
  • I would appreciate live translation for meetings with an international audience. Perhaps Google Translate could be connected somehow.
  • I had difficulty in locating the AI transcript option control.
  • I save travel dollars when I stay at home!
  • I can connect with colleagues and clients quickly and personally without losing the human touch.
  • The mobile app is excellent and allows me to work on the road without my laptop.
