Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
It makes it sooo easy to set up and schedule video calls with both Internal and external people. We use it for almost all of our externally facing client meetings and our team, department, and organization-wide meetings. It's easy to join the calls, the chat functionality is a piece of cake, and the sound quality on the calls is really good.
Pros
- Background noise cancellation is fantastic. I had a colleague who had a loud fan on in his same room and I couldn't hear it through the call.
- Integration with external systems like chorus or outreach is great as well. Makes it super easy to do call recordings if you don't want to keep it inside Zoom itself.
- Video quality is also really good. I usually just blur my background, but the video quality with the virtual backgrounds is also really good.
Cons
- I know there are some emoji-type actions where when you give a thumbs up, it will make a thumbs up emoji next to your head, but I don't know how to enable or disable this feature. So it ends up feeling a little random an doesn't always happen.
- There is a way to make it a webinar-style call, but again, I'm not sure how to do it.
- Sometimes the screen-sharing can be a little confusing because it brings up all the windows and it takes me a minute to find it.
- Overall positive impact. Makes it super easy to collaborate on calls and meetings.
- I can't speak to the cost savings, but I'm a fan

I personally like Zoom the best. The interface is super easy to use and I really like the quality of the sound and the video. I would put it as a clear leader compared to Meet and Teams.
