Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo

We use ZoomInfo to find new contacts and also to identify companies that may be a fit for our business.

Pros

  • The contact info is usually very good, correct data.
  • Searching is pretty easy.
  • Reports are pretty easy to set up.

Cons

  • The company data needs to be cleaned up - lots of duplicates, lots of old companies that are no longer in business.
  • We've sold deals off contacts found in ZoomInfo. We also use the functionality to guess the naming convention of people we find on LinkedIn.
The data is above average - I would say a company like DiscoverOrg does a better job marketing how much better their data is. I haven't used it so I have no idea, but their marketing is better. Buying credits and downloading isn't something we do at AchieveForum.
If you know your market, finding contacts is easy. It is a pain that you have to click into each record to get contact information, but overall it's good. Building out a list of companies can be difficult, because there is so much duplicate data.
