ZoomInfo, best data collection service I've used so far!

Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo is used to collect contact data for sales prospects at my company. We need to be able to reach potential clients as well as customers and ZoomInfo gives us up-to-date information on how to reach them. It also notifies me of any changes in position or if the person has left the company. Without a tool like this, a sales role can become much more difficult. I was calling into companies where the employee on the other line would explain how the prospect had not worked there in a few years. It was quite embarrassing and I thought I could rely on my resources at the time for correct information. The software integrates well with Salesforce and Chrome. This is something our last provider did not offer. Our last data collection provider was very out of date and had a clunky interface from the user's perspective. We have an added bonus on ZoomInfo with the use of scoops too. Not only do we have our contacts' information across thousands of accounts, we now know of executive changes, when they are going over initiatives and other company news that helps us improve our research.

  • Staying up to date with company news.
  • Some of the accounts are unclear about who works there and I have to revert to looking at their emails to find out if they work at the company I am looking at or if they work at a subsidiary company.
  • ZoomInfo contacts do not always integrate with the matching SFDC contact.
  • Not too many complaints honestly.

ZoomInfo is much better than DiscoverOrg. They do not provide enough news on the company, which I find to be important when talking to prospects. The look of the software is very out of date compared to ZoomInfo as well. ZoomInfo is also more expensive than our last provider, which would explain the multitude of features attached to the data collection tool.
It's well suited for any sales role and I would consider it a must to have this software. It will work well with any b2b sales team but I do not see it working with c2b sales teams. My role deals with enterprise-level executives and it couldn't have been better.
