Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo

We subscribed to ZoomInfo for more timely leads based on "buyer intent" from client search history. We have been disappointed that many more times than not when we contact the targeted companies we are told that they have not been searching and/or are not interested in the solution to the search terms we are pursuing. This has been consistent across all search terms and company sizes in our experience. We have found some actionable intel within the scoops reports, but it is often RFP-related, which can always be found without paying for a lead-gen subscription. I do applaud the degree of accuracy on their contact info... much higher success rates than some of the other groups we have used, but very pricey solution (for us) if the only tangible benefit we get is a higher degree of contact info correctness to load into our CRM.
  • Thorough inventory of Companies listed.
  • Accurate contact info.
  • Accurate company info (products used, number locations, revenue, etc.)
  • Increased accuracy in search results.
  • More contact cell phone numbers (SMS messages are responded to much more than email).

  • Sadly we have yet to make a sale from their search results. That said, our sales cycle is long, but our funnel is far, FAR, from full of prospects we have garnered from the intel we have derived from ZoomInfo.
We live in the IT/Telephony space and 6Sense seems to be a bit stronger in their grasp of the Tech stack target companies are using, although their contact data seems a bit less accurate. Lead Forensics has always been a solid "C" to me, not really bad, not really good. ZoomInfo seems to fit in with most of the other players I am familiar with (some pros, some cons).
The tool is very intuitive and user-friendly. Ultimately it depends on what it is you are buying it for. If the ZoomInfo team can deliver the Holy Grail we all want and tell us WHO exactly is doing the searching, then we could isolate who to contact within the target account and there would not be a company in the world that would not use them! The software is easy to use and the info is spot on, so if you want BI and data to build out your CRM they are a great source.
