Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo Talent

We utilize ZoomInfo Talent to identify potential candidates for our manufacturing and engineering clients. We have used ZoomInfo to email them in the past.

Pros

  • ZoomInfo Talent has detailed search parameters to help identified potentially qualified candidates.
  • ZoomInfo Talent allows you to download your results via CSV or Excel directly to your ATS/CRM once linked.
  • ZoomInfo Talent shows email open info if you send them emails via ZoomInfo.

Cons

  • I think the data (emails and phone numbers) is only somewhat accurate.
  • Often there is company data missing that is important.
  • ZoomInfo doesn't provide phone support for free; you have to pay for phone support in addition to the platform.
  • Negative ROI for 2024. I found often the phone numbers, emails and current companies were not current.
  • It's a nice product to have as an add on.
  • I don't think training is great; I found it made more sense to hire someone to utilize my sourcing instead.
It's ok. I don't think it's fabulous. Initially I purchased ZoomInfo Talent to replace LinkedIn Professional Recruiter. I found that I was still finding and connecting with more candidates and ultimately placing them using LinkedIn. I don't think it's an adequate substitute for LinkedIn RPS.
LinkedIn is a better recruitment program overall in my opinion. I like the InMail feature which seems to get far better results than emailing from ZoomInfo Talent.

Honestly, I'm not using ZoomInfo because I have researchers who have their licenses to several platforms. So, I don't think I need it moving forward.

Using ZoomInfo Talent

1 - I use it for candidate recruitment and marketing.
Anyone who understands boolean searches and cloud-based systems and is really good at defining search parameters.
  • Finding Talent that might not be on LinkedIn
  • Finding and connecting with talent at specific companies
  • Finding and connecting with talent in specific geographies/cities/states
  • I look up companies to get insight on their products and decision makers

Evaluating ZoomInfo Talent and Competitors

  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
Ease of Use, I don't have a lot of technical knowledge, so it's important I have systems and programs that are easy to use.
