Accredify vs. Lotame

In our case, we decided to use accredify for the verification of our certificates. Currently, it is mainly being for contractual agreement, and it is still very new, but given the results from our tests and our issues, we believe accredify will do it well. Possibly the use could be expanded to HR and other departments. Time will tell.

Well suited for advertising business. Has a lot of links to all relevant technologies. It is also a great platform if you want to buy or sell data and look for quality here. But you need a team which knows how to handle data. Less appropriate when you expect a fully managed service.

• A small team, like a large company, sometimes can be difficult to get in touch with. But considering their size they do good.
• Possibility to expand the verification to more document types and files. The potential could be huge and use cases are large in our company.

• So far we haven't encountered too many "needs improvement" pain points with Lotame - if we've had a problem so far it's been more a matter of needing to learn that particular action than any fault of Lotame.

There are alternatives in the market - Visual DNA, Bluekai/Oracle/ Adobe Audience Manager, Krux. They all offer a similar offering, however, I prefer the easy UI which is very intuitive even for beginners to the DMP world.

• Fraud can be costly to detect, but with accredify it has changed.
• If we can just avoid one case of document tampering and thereby avoid a legal suit or a fraud the costs of Accredify are already a good investment.
• We have a good IS a team, but the implementation of new software and training of personnel afterward is always a costly thing. However, with Accredify we can focus on our own core competencies - that is for some of our colleagues a very nice change.
