Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud vs. AWS Backup

The services are easy to learn and manage. The support team is very competent and resolves my issues that come s up easily. As a business partner, they are proactive in offering solutions and help to improve what we are doing. They are always there for engineering solutions that we are not sure how to do.

There is a cost involved with data retrieval. AWS Backup is truly that, a backup. If you need to access this data on a regular basis, there are better options out there. For long term, just in case incremental backups, AWS [Backup] checks all the boxes. Just set it up, start your backups, and rest assured your data is safe.

• The website is pretty slow and will kick you off sometimes. I know they are working on this. For now, this is the biggest problem we have with Acronis.
• Their support team isn't great. It can take a while to get an issue resolved, although issues do not happen frequently.

• Having the default Roles all the necessary permission, you have to add some depending on your configurations
• Being able to see the Jobs status in a centralize account more graphically

They recently raised the pricing for backup usage and our price has nearly doubled. It is still lower than some other vendors, but we might review other options before renewing next year.

The platform is quite intuitive and centralizes many functions into a single console, which facilitates the daily management of all clients. However, some sections—such as the RMM, security audit reports, or the Awareness service—could be more comprehensive to enhance the overall experience. Overall because I can sell it white labeled and use my white labeled software like CloudBerry and the native backup apps on my synology NAS servers to store things in real time and do duplication and disaster recovery directly to it was game changing for my client in the advertising world they are never down now.

Support has been helpful when we have had to reach out. We have not had to contact support that much so I do not have much feedback on them. I met the support team at the Cyber Summit and they are all very nice, smart individuals.

Support for AWS Backup is by Amazon itself so it is solid as always. If you have a business or higher level support plan you'll have no trouble getting engineers or other staff on the job to help you with whatever comes up.

Price! All the services have low entry points and then hit you with big fees. Acronis Advanced Backup provides better management and control of your cost then the other services we evaluated. We have tested a number of solutions not on the list that have are price competitive, but the support was lacking.

I've tried a lot of different products. Backblaze, at least from a birds-eye view is significantly cheaper than AWS/the rest. Backblaze is a little more simpler, but it's well worth it. Linode also provides backup options, however I'm only familiar with their backup on their VPS's (however you make that plural), which never gave me a problem.

• We have been able to further develop our customerbase and and more MSP as our partners
• Overall the recurring revenue coming from Acronis, will help us to increase revenue and margin, without investing in new hardware and save on energy-cost.
• It is time consuming to implement Acronis into our system and train our employees. With this there is also cost involved, but we believe in the long-term investements we make here.

• Offsite means a failure at our cloud provider means we can redeploy quickly to another data center or another provider quickly.
• The cost can't be best.
• Pay only for what you use. No need to pay for extra data that you don't need.
