Agency Analytics

Good if you are only looking for keyword monitoring. If you want a more in depth analysis and further reporting capabilities you should look for other tools like sem rush

CognitiveSEO

When we have clients that are in a competitive landscape we need to monitor their links (live and lost) more aggressively than others. CognitiveSEO allows us to get daily alerts on new links that come in so we can review these quickly and make decisions to disavow them before these links become a problem.

Majestic and Ahrefs are great tools and we use them with CognitiveSEO but for different reasons. Majestic and Ahrefs have more comprehensive link databases while cognitive gives us more updated link information and more detailed link anchor text information. Cognitive also allows us to tag anchor text as different categories such as, "branded" "commercial" and "misc.".

Return on Investment

  • Agency Analytics has made it easier for us to report to our clients on a monthly basis. With being able to add users to the campaign, it also gives the client a little responsibility to track their report on their own time if it's between the monthly emails. This has saved us phone calls.
  • Being able to updates reports in real time saves us money because other tools charge you each time you run the report. Sometimes changes are just "tests" and you may need to revert back to the original set up. With Agency Analytics, we're not charged extra for making changes.

  • We've cleaned up link profiles which clients have appreciated
  • With the on-going link monitoring we've spent less time re-auditing link profiles
  • Anchor text monitoring also sped up our toxic review
