Ahrefs is a must have in the SEO toolbox. It is one of the leading tools in the industry for serious SEO research. It can do almost everything you need on the non-technical side of SEO. In my opinion, it is not great if you need a detailed technical tool that identifies errors and helps with fix suggestions. In that instance, I think there are better tools on the market. But - for content and keyword related tasks, I think it's must have.

If you have a business with more than 20 locally serving locations you know how important local searches are. RIO SEO will help syndicate your information and their robust toolkit will help those types of businesses be successful online. Their all in one dashboard lets the user control every location without having to log in to multiple dashboards to make a change in Google, then Bing, then Yelp, etc.

I honestly can't think of a scenario where WebTextTool (TextMetrics) would not be valuable for anyone writing content intended for publishing either online or in print media. If the intent is for print media, then even if you completely ignore the SEO section of the analysis, all of the other analysis tools intended for content are incredibly insightful and helpful. These days, even print media almost always ends up online in some form or another on the publisher's website or in a digital format of the publication. So the SEO tools can still give a little boost in reworking or rewording some parts to make sure they will be effective not only in print but online as well.

Can't export graphs: some graphs within the tool would be useful as an export. Unfortunately, exporting them is not an option.
No "blanket" reporting options: though Ahrefs is excellent for gathering and exporting intel/data, there are no blanket SEO reports provided. Exporting data is great, but simple report exporting would make it better.

The dashboard could be a bit more user-friendly. It takes some training to get used to.
Keys/legends in the sidebar and in exports to help explain what different sections are for the "laymen" that aren't in this industry 24/7.
Having a "suggested changes" like what Moz.com/local has in their backend for photos/additional categories. Something that can help the user be more proactive rather than "here's where you're at" a "here's what you can do to improve" would help.

WebTextTool (TextMetrics) assumes that each uploaded or typed in the article is intended for online publishing, mostly in a blog type environment. While this is a perfectly understandable assumption in this day and age, it shouldn't be so difficult to ask the question of whether the content is intended for online or print media.
The "Credibility" section tends to be a little too harsh for my taste. Depending on the style of writing and the type of content, "too many adjectives" is too subjective a metric to apply to all writing ( still, I do get why they try to do it).
This is a little nitpicky, but I'd prefer to see how many projects and credits I have left to use on the dashboard page as opposed to having to click over to my account. A dashboard should show everything that a user needs to see in one shot.

Their index is too vast to ignore when looking at a complete backlink profile. We find links in Ahrefs that do not appear in any other link detection tool. For this reason, it's a must for our agency to use for the foreseeable future. Plus, it's very affordable considering the data you get
Ahrefs is very easy to use - you can jump right in and understand most of the assets. Overall, the dashboard snapshots give a very good picture of inbound link activity. For deeper analysis of historical trends, the system can become cumbersome, making it hard to do full work without exporting and reformatting the data.
Ahrefs has always been responsive when there's been a technical issue with the site. There are usually very little problems, but if there are, they announce it on their social media accounts which keeps its customers informed. Email support is prompt and the customer service people are very helpful, knowledgable and friendly.

I only had to reach out to TexMetrics once when initially getting my account setup after signing up. The response was swift, and they addressed my question completely. I've had no other issues since I began using TextMetrics, so based on that one interaction, I have to give them a great score. I assume that it is still the same as when I reached out that one time (at least I hope it is!).

Majestic and Ahrefs are really close in terms of tool. Ahrefs does offer competitive comparison and they do have a more up to date data base. Majestic however has a more comprehensive historical view of sites which is also extremely valuable. Majestic also offers a link velocity chart that is missing on Ahrefs. Ahrefs makes up for this with their links gained/lost calendar which Majestic is missing.

I cannot express in enough words my disdain for that service and how much of a refreshing change it was to work with a company like RIO that cared as much about our client success as we did.

They have helped us retain several big clients over the years which in turn has helped bring in several other clients.
Their tools allow us, a small boutique agency, to operate like a big agency.
Our local listing clients have been much happier with our switch to RIO which has allowed us to focus on other areas for them instead of just the syndication.
