The video, which integrates with Gmail, Salesforce, and Outlook, provides open tracking and video response capabilities, reminder and notifications, reusable text for sales emails, and content library custom branded content for integration with emails.
mmhmm is, by far, the absolute best presentation platform I have found - and I have looked a lot and demoed a lot of them. The flexibility, ease of use and visually engaging experience that mmhmm provides has, without fail, been a game changer tool no matter the presentation styles. While it is, hands down, the best virtual presentation platform, I have not been able to level up my in-person experiences to the same degree as I have online. I will continue to explore how and where I can integrate the mmhmm Studio toolsets to pump up my in-person experiences.
BombBomb is great for direct, individually-sent emails where you want to custom the email, particularly with a video message. BombBomb is not the best mass email tool that I have seen on the market. In my experience, they penalize you when people unsubscribe, even if they NEED to be receiving your emails. We have people who unsubscribe and then miss info they need for work. That's not our fault. But, in our experience, BombBomb displays that we are not a good company to mass email because of it.

It's an intuitive application to use. In a few minutes you sign up, start a new presentation and you're underway. It's pretty plug-n-play.
I've recommended it to my "non-technical" friends and they love it. They told me it was super easy to use and has made them more excited to create and share their presentations.
I like BombBomb's animated GIF preview of our video content. I think it's definitely more attention-grabbing than traditional email.
BombBomb's automation tools are simple and easy to use. You can program a series of emails to go out X number days following the previous one and at a certain point in time.
BombBomb's email builder is also pretty easy to use, once you get the hang of it. (If you've used other email tools, Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc. --- this one should be a snap.)
In the future I might like to see a fast-swap handoff to fellow presenters like we do in a live presentation.
Getting more updates on the platform advances in emails would be helpful. Like the recent sharing of useful templates was awesome.
I'd like to see more user stories shared to see how others are using the platform to make their presentations stand out. These kinds of things are helpful in feeding my ideas and insights for my next meeting, presentation and lessons.
As said before, the usability is very straightforward and the customization options are good enough to get the job done. There is a mobile app to help with real-time engagement so that is useful too. They offer plenty of training and best practices to make sure you are getting the most out of BombBomb.
Overall it's very easy to use and the video emails stand out. Everything loads quickly and they make it easy to set up. It features CRM-like functionality to view opens, clicks, time watched, etc., but it doesn't port that info over to your existing CRM which is where some of the friction occurs. Still, it's amazing for what it does. I recommend giving it a try for our outreach.
A few times over the years I have asked for features to be added to BombBomb and I am amazed at how fast they can implement. Zapier integration is a perfect example. They implemented the connection to Zapier within 30 days of my feature request. It took a much larger company, Keller Williams Realty over 10 years to implement the same request.
Of all the platforms out there - believe me, I've tried them all - or try to avoid them whenever I can - mmhmm stands on its own with its unique platform benefits, visualizations, ease of use, sharability, affordability, and overall "Wow" factor that we hope to get from our audiences. No matter what it is we are presenting. To have that ability to integrate and gravitate to our presentations has proven to be a game changer that really did not take a lot for us to do. Even better is the fact that we still may have to - for whatever reason - build a presentation in one of the slide builder apps we can still import them seamlessly into mmhmm and use the mmhmm interface as our camera when we use the other platforms. It's been a complete win, win, win all around.
I believe my customer service director looked into a couple of other companies before deciding on BombBomb and I know the Outlook integration was a big deal. I think they really liked how easy the program is to use too.

The ROI is a bazillion-fold. It's not an expensing platform, but the positive impact has been priceless!
Even the Powerpoint burnt out team members have taken easily to using mmhmm
Our presentations get comments like, "Wow... this is cool." "We really loved this presentation. It was completely engaging." "What are you guys using? This is pretty dang cool!"
Overall, I think BombBomb has given us a positive ROI on our email marketing efforts. I don't have numbers to support that claim, but it's more affordable and better positioned for what we needed to do than many other tools out in the marketplace. If you need to differentiate your email, the video component is a great way to go.
