Apify is a full-stack web scraping and automation platform that helps anyone get value from the web. At its core is Apify Store, a marketplace where developers build, publish, and monetize automation tools called Actors. Actors are serverless cloud programs that extract data, automate web tasks, and run AI agents. Developers build them using JavaScript, Python, or tools like Crawlee, Apify's open-source web scraping library. Build an Actor once, publish it to Store, and…

i tried PhantomBuster and ScraperAPI before but Apify is way better for technical stuff... PhantomBuster is okay for linkedin but too limited with their recipes while Apify lets u customize everything with actors. ScraperAPI is just proxies but Apify is a whole platform with …
Apify is in a league of it's own in terms of flexibility and the ability to connect the API into lead generation automations on n8n or Make.com. The variety of actors available is much larger than most other scraping sources and for anyone looking for lead enrichment, it is …
I used other platforms such as n8n and make.com, and Apify seems more reliable because it is built for real developers. It gives much more independence than other platforms. Maybe in terms of storage and processing speed needs to be improvement for AI-generated content.
PhantomBuster is not a business intelligence tool, and should not be used with that expectation. It's made to scrape data, making it easy for those less tech-savy or scraping data from searches. It's up to the user to determine what you get out of this tool. We used two templates mostly, the Linkedin search scraper, and the Google Maps scraper. We are sponsors of several business organizations, so we would use the sales NAVIGATOR filter to pull people who are also part of those groups as their members. The Google Maps template as I explained previously was fundamental to push our Google Business Profile consulting. As an example, if you're looking to scrape contact data from a chamber of commerce directory, this is the perfect tool.
1. It can be connected to slack for companies that uses that system. 2. Also can be connected to Google Drive to share information from spreadsheets and csv data. 3. It works efficiently with WordPress websites which are the most used platform for web development. 4. It connects ORACLE's databases with different systems online and that's very useful.
I love how intuitive the interface is. Even without deep coding knowledge, I can set up workflows quickly. The ready‑made actors are extremely helpful and cover most of my use cases.
Apify makes it incredibly easy to automate repetitive web tasks. The platform is stable, the actors run smoothly, and the logs give me full visibility into every step.
Apify offers impressive flexibility — from custom actors to API integrations and scheduling options. It scales well even with large workloads, and the performance has been consistent.
Some actors are very expensive and offer limited value - $120 / month before event charges? That's insane. The monthly price also isn't listed in the main search screen, so you need to go in manually to each actor to ascertain how much it really costs
Some actors often break after a while and you need to start searching for new ones... but I guess that's the price for relying on 3rd party actors in your marketplace
The review/quality process isn't great to navigate when looking for a new tool.
It's the best because you can just load in a limited amount of money and limit your financial exposure to using a tool like this. so renewing isn't a big consideration... i know that i'm going to need the tool in the future and i'll load it with money accordingly when im ready.
First of all, PhantomBuster comes at a very low price point for us. We're more than happy to keep paying it just based on that. Price is not the only motivator alone though. PhantomBuster makes pulling the information you need very easy. Myself and my team require little support to run this tool and we also appreciate efficiency.
Very very easy to use, subscriber in a heartbeat. Most of the apps available you may need to explore a bit, but generally you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for and it will get the job done. The ability to choose what you want to do with it and for independent providers being able to place their apps in the marketplace makes it strong
Because as a developer and programmer is very easy to work with and provides many options to very complex problems. It provides guides for integration that are very useful and makes us save a lot of money and time on integrations. Also Skyvia is constantly adding more data systems on their lists for us to provide as web managers.
Apify does its own thing and delivers value based on its core features, but I still rate Apify as my number one platform for finding and using web scrapers. In terms of how it stacks, I use Apify alongside Bright Data for web research workflows.
I don't really have the opportunity to test another Data Extraction tool like Phantombuster. When I started my job they already have bought this tool so I learned how to use it and honestly I do not have any need to change it. I think Phantombuster is the best for this
Compared to similar user-friendly data integration systems like Integrate.io, Stitch, or Azure, Skyvia still wins in the number of connectors and pricing policy. Skyvia is a tool for companies like ours, starving for simple but, at the same time, robust and cost-effective data transfer solutions. It doesn't require additional knowledge for implementation and usage because it's no code. We'd recommend Skyvia as the best solution for non-technical staff.
The core of our business lies in analyzing data from various sources, and while ETL itself is not our primary focus, it is a necessary process to achieve our goals. Thanks to Skyvia, we are able to streamline the ETL process at a reasonable price, allowing us to dedicate our efforts to data analysis without the burden of ETL complexities.
