Your server stores all your data. TimeClick works completely off the cloud, so only you can see your data. #2 Every other device is a Client. Every device that connects to the server is called a client. Note that mobile devices can only be clients, not servers. #3 Choose your license. Select your license based on how many devices your team will use. Single-Device License = Server Only Multi-Device License = Server + Clients Example (3-Device License): 1 Server + 2 Clients

Asana
The usability of Asana is broad since it's available in a variety of platforms that are widely used nowadays. I think that it would be great for people who are constantly on the move and switching devices, since it has allowed me to work from my phone, too. I also think that Asana has proven itself to handle a large quantity of work

TimeClick is very user friendly and appropriate for any job that requires employees to use their computers, such as offices. All employees have the TimeClick software on their computers in our office and clock in once they get seated at their desks. I do not think it would be as appropriate or easy to use in a more quick-paced setting where employees don't have computers, such as in restaurants and retail.

Usability
Asana
It is very user-friendly. Takes a new employee an hour to start figuring out how the system works. That's an important factor. You don't want to encounter the issue where employees need a week to understand how the system works. For example, JIRA, I tried using it for a week and I still don't understand the complicated layout. Asana has a simple interface. Once you see it, you get it type of program.

Overall, the TimeClick software is very easy to use for anyone who is familiar using basic computer programs. You open the app, find your name, and clock in or out using your short password. Each employee's password is different but easy to remember (or change if forgotten), which makes it simple to log in and out for the day or during lunch.

Support Rating
Asana
I haven't had to use their support so I can't rate it. The fact that I haven't needed them reflects the ease of use of the product. I would recommend that any new users schedule a complete demo of the product to ensure that they are using it to it's fullest (there's a lot of useful features).

Alternatives Considered
Asana
Asana is a top-tier project management software that helps us organize and track projects from start to finish. It allows us to apply tasks/to-dos to multiple projects without duplication, divide complex projects into smaller tasks, and track project progress. It also helps us organize work on Kanban boards or linear lists. It stands out from the crowd in a big way compared to the competition.

TimeClick is very easy and straight-forward for clocking in and out of work. Other software programs are less updated or more confusing, and not always pleasing to the eye. While TimeClick software has some issues, it does provide necessary and frequent updates, is pleasing to the eye, and is user friendly.
