Overall Satisfaction with Asana

We are currently using Asana in our entire organization as a project management tool. It has worked very well, and organizing all our tasks has never been easier, and knowing what we have to do next in our priority list is possible thanks to this tool. It has improved a lot of areas in our organization such as productivity and organization, and because it's customizable, we have been able to make it feel like it's a tool that fully caters to us.

Pros

  • I like that the way the projects are displayed makes it easy to visualize them and work in each one without needing to do many steps, just a few clicks and you're in a different project. It's specially good for me and my team who are constantly working on multiple projects and like to be able to complete multiple tasks that don't usually belong in the same place.
  • When completing my tasks, I absolutely love the feature where you can automatically sort them with customizable actions, saving me so much time.
  • The calendar tool is beneficial in allowing me to plan ahead of time many tasks and meetings in our team, it helps me avoid mistakes in scheduling and it allows me to change any meetings with the drag and drop function, and assign them to team members.

Cons

  • The price of this software is quite high considering we have many team members which need to be using Asana, so each time a member is added the price increases. I definitely think that they could offer better pricing options for those who don't use the entirety of the features offered in Asana.
  • I wouldn't classify Asana to be easy to use in the beginning, the implementation process took a lot of time for me and it was quite overwhelming, and even though some things are easy to learn to use, majority of it has a learning curve, but honestly, it's worth it to take the time to learn each feature and what it does if you want to get better results in your projects and workflow.
  • We have been able to get great results during our time using Asana, this has included the integration of it with other different tools we use on the daily, and the efficient use of our time has been the greatest investment when using it. Aside from that, Asana has allowed us to have a clear set of goals when managing our projects, and have good insights from every project finished.
I think that it has a great platform that contains many different tools that are great for any type of business, it has given my team the opportunity to integrate some awesome features into our work such as the Gantt charts and the reporting and analyzing section, I think that it's a very complete software that can do a lot of things in the same place.

The usability of Asana is broad since it's available in a variety of platforms that are widely used nowadays. I think that it would be great for people who are constantly on the move and switching devices, since it has allowed me to work from my phone, too. I also think that Asana has proven itself to handle a large quantity of work.
