We are looking to use this across many areas in CAI, not just posting jobs. I think the platform itself is very easy, and anyone can use it. Still, along with that, the functionality of creating eye-catching posters for various use and then being able to see how those performed and the traction they received on social networks is tremendous.
For presenting candidates to clients, PCRecruiter has had rave reviews from clients. It's easy to look through a candidate's profile and provide feedback. Like I said earlier, if it could retain real-time information on a candidate, it would be more effective, not having me have to resend a candidate to a client every time there is something new added to a candidate profile. It would be great to have templates for candidate letters so we wouldn't have to write our own. It would be nice if the parsing feature was more effective in pulling over all the information - as often I have to add in information or make adjustments on parsing.
Applicant tracking is a great tool. We are able to search resumes or search by keyword. This is a definite time saver and will eliminate your filing cabinets.
Linking candidates to job orders. We are able to create jobs and link candidates to open job orders. This allows us to see what positions are currently open and also lets us know the length of time the position was open before being filled.
Notes: We are able to keep notes on start dates, end dates, call-offs, tardiness, workers comp claims, disciplinary, and anything else that our company needs. This is a great tool when you have workers comp claims, unemployment, or documentation for ending a work assignment.
Although PCRecruiter offers API's we would like to see a more Mobile friendly version. Especially for candidates when applying for a position.
Some of the administrative function still require writing a SQL query. For example there is no easy way to clear out a large number of old form letters and merging large numbers of duplicate records.
The basic web extension for clients is very limited. For example the position screen only shows the position title which if you have five positions with the title of "Sales Rep" in five different cities you can not to tell them apart.
I really like using PCRecruiter and give this rating because the product has helped me with all the reports and services I need to make my job easier. I also enjoy the fact that if I do happen to have an issue of some sort, I can either search for the solution or I can contact a technician and they will take care of the issue immediately.
As the past VP of Recruiting for a boutique search firm. I trained many recruiters on the PCR system. All were using the system like a pro in a week to 10 days tops. PCR does everything a recruiting team will need without being overly complicated to learn or navigate.
I have had little to no downtime with PC Recruiter (except for planned maintenance). Whether I am using it on my laptop or the mobile versions (iPad and Android based phone), I am able to get to my information quickly and easily
I gave it this rating because I find that even though they are great support, they don't help to improve the situation because often it is out of their hands. It is that the website is down or some other issue that they can not readily fix. While helpful, I think some changes need to be made for this software to work better.
PCRecruiter is very effective in the placement of employees and has been able to achieve our vision. My experience with a similar platform was not as effective as with PCRecruiter since the speed of loading web pages is reliable. The cost of deploying PCRecruiter is relatively low as compared to other recruiting software. The support team of this platform is very reliable and can be easily reached at any time.
We hope to see organic attraction increase to our job flow.
We can look at the analytics and see how the campaigns are performing and can then dive into why some aren't performing as well as others. For example, it would be nice to be able to see all campaigns for the team if you are an admin rather than just your own, so you can directly compare those posts and the time they were posted, day, etc.
Because I am a solo practitioner, with low volume recruiting, I don't use it to the fullest extent. So I'd say zero impact other than to track my information in case of discrepancies with clients.
There is a learning curve, so it does take away time from your day to learn the system.
