Collab OneContact CC vs. Kixie

Collab OneContact is an all around platform that can be used in any situation. It can be used in situation where there isn't a PBX. I've seen some solutions where the platform is integrated, using SIP with a CUCM.

Suited if you want to hear old calls. Not suited for teaching new SDR's how to talk or what a good call is and why. Kixie doesn't transcribe either.

• Was built to stand alone, with no need for a supporting PBX, or a advanced reporting module.

• Kixie integrates seamlessly with our CRM (Zoho), meaning it updates call notes directly on the customer's CRM profile.
• The one-click dialing feature directly through our CRM is a great feature. It's so simple; just search for a name, one-click, and you are on the phone.
• The local presence feature is a nice touch for cold calls. It provides a local area code when cold calling to increase the likelihood of an answer to the call.

• The need to have a Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 Standard in order to save the media interactions.
• The email module needs a little more work.

• User interface, sometimes the list you are calling on the tool can glitch and not show you the info of the lead.
• Integration with more CRMs like Agencyzoom
• An email automation option similar to text messages.

Kixie provides a nice user interface. There is a bit of a learning curve to load leads but it's not difficult. It's just learning where to go and how to load lists for the reps. Once you have it figured out, it's easy to get lists loaded for reps and give them the ability to manage those leads

CUCCX is a great platform but it can't be considered when working with other manufacturers, even if they support SIP. For this reason, when you're building a network that isn't just installed by one provider, I would suggest an approach different from CUCCX (considering VoIP and CC platforms, not routing or switching). OneContact allows the integration between platforms, allowing short number dialing between different contexts, recording other advanced telephony solution. Collab's Customer interaction Hub is a great solution for clients that need a CRM, but don't need much complexity, this mini-CRM is a great asset against the competition and facilitates the deployment of an omni-channel Contact Center.

• It has a low initial CAPEX
• It has low maintenance
• The manufacterer support can be a considerable cost.

• Kixie's dialer allows us to dial directly from our CRM
• The voicemail drop feature saves time and allows our BDRs to move on to the next call right away
• The automatic log calling saves even more time instead of having to log the call manually
