Covetrus AVImark vs. Lighthouse 360 vs. Weave

AVImark works for us. Yes, there are times when we wish it could do this or do that, but overall, it does exactly what we need it to. It is easy to use and easy to teach to people with no knowledge of any vet software and it is pretty user-friendly as well.

Truly love and appreciate the templets that we can use to send out office specific emails - Also the openings on a schedule notifications are great to get the schedule full - we use it daily!

Weave integrates with Nextech which is a nice tech stack setup for phone, EMR, text messaging, appointment reminders, voicemail, etc. It would also work well for small medical practices that can use it as an all-in-one system and aren't super worried about tracking where patient leads are coming from (Weave is not a CRM or marketing automation platform). For larger, more complex organizations, they may find a greater need for enhanced integrations with a CRM or marketing automation platform which is not a strong suit of Weave

• The overall cost for the basic is great, it is all the extras that make it more expensive - we have a few locations so it is not horrible and we use what we pay for to the fullest.
• The only real down fall is the time lapse - it pulls every 30 minutes from the server, I wish it was more real time as sometimes we have an opening that has already been filled and someone still gets a notification of an opening
• We can only text so many words to a patient in response or trying to send a notice - which isn't that big of a downfall.

I find the program to be very user-friendly. This is software that is easy to use and understand. There are a number of shortcut keys that make it even easier to use. When teaching AVImark to new employees with zero veterinary experience, they pick up how to use AVImark quickly.

AVImark is not a monthly subscription, so costs are overall cheaper. Also, exit barriers are high for this type of product. It would be difficult to retrain an entire hospital on a new system and work through the transition period.

Lighthouse does not offer as many features as NexHealth which is why we are making the switch to NexHealth currently. Solutionreach was not as good as Lighthouse.

Better phone systems than Comcast. More streamlined and easier to use than Solutionreach with a more focused feature set. Integrates with Nextech. Solutionreach does have the best custom appointment reminders and recall email marketing functionality in the HIPPA-compliant industry, in my experience
