Creately vs. Roomzilla

Creately sells itself as software specializing in a wide variety of areas, which is true in some cases. Visualizing and creating marketing processes, research, user flows, and general flowcharts is an extremely powerful tool. However, in other areas, such as Human Resources, UI/UX prototyping, and Wireframe design, it leaves a little to be desired compared to the competition.

great for recurring meetings on a weekly basis when we don't have to schedule it every week - automatic feature is great. ALso like how it describves the different features each room has with photo. Filters for choosing words is great too as we can see what tech is available in each room

• Shows how many seats the room accommodates, what AV equipment it has, and a picture.
• Allows you to check in or end the meeting early.
• Suggests conference rooms for particular times, based on what's already been booked.
• Can integrate with Google Calendar.

• The transition Creately made this year to their new non-Flash platform seems to almost function like a beta release in some instances.
• Customer support sometimes takes a while to return and the responses are not always the best or most helpful. Follow up isn't great, either.

• I don't like that you can't reserve a room with only one participant. Sometimes we require the room to make a remote call/meeting and it's only one participant, so that should be taken into account.

Creately is one of its Kind. The software has a straightforward interface and very supportive customer services providers. It is very well suited in diagramming and collaboration.

Very easy to use, I have it pinned on my Chrome bar, it remembers you, so you can just log straight in, book and all is done! It is perfect. The text is perfect, the colours are great, it is easy to read, flows nicely and you can book instantly

Creately's folder system is a novel feature that beats its competitors. It helps keep everything organized. In addition, there are many more customization possibilities, especially in the shapes and in the library of templates and drawings. It has an intelligent drawing capability superior to all the competition, allowing more customization and detail.

It's easier to preview the room availability and co-coordinate between users from different organizations. It synchronises with tablets in each room allowing to confirm, schedule or cancel the meeting directly from the meeting room. Also allows to add multiple users and manage them from organisation level of different companies. Totally recommend.

• It has made our meetings more seamless since we don't have to spend time walking around looking for available space.
