Data Axle Genie vs. Deltek GovWin IQ

If you are looking to enrich your existing database, Data Axel Genie isn't the easiest tool to use. I do like how the contacts are verified, however, you have to pay PER contact if you are enriching, and if you merged existing infrastructures, it's not as easy to clean out your database. And it is very costly for this company.

From a strategy and marketing perspective I get a ton of use out of Deltek. It is my go to tool for looking for relevant content as I help identify our strategy and sales pursuits. This tools gives good insight into future planning capabilities along with current opportunities and contracts that we should be considering. I could use more contacts in the federal space that are relevant to my business. I see a lot of non relevant but when it comes to the AEC area we need more focused point of contacts at federal sites

• I liked the organization of the database it was easy to maneuver.
• Search was fairly easy to maintain.
• If you want to create a list of leads this will work. However, it is primarily for consumer leads not B2B.

• Tracks Federal Agency solicitation activities, providing frequent updates and links to important websites and documents. This has allowed me to have one resource that truly saves me time in gathering important account info needed for planning and reporting!
• Webinars that provide budget and spending intel and actionable program information, both current and planned.
• Advanced training for professionals who have the desire to pull any type of contracting-related information across agencies. Users can go as deep into investigations as they need or desire.

• We have a very specific industry and sometimes drilling down to these leads can be challenging. But with customer service, they have solved this for us.

• Better filtering of opportunities
• More timely notification of opportunities
• A comprehensive view of government entity profile including contacts, contracts, vendors, rfp's, etc.

It was good when we had it but there definitely more softwares out there that provide more information, more current contact info and are much more user friendly

Spot on and always available.

Salesgenie seemed more intuitive and knowledgeable account manager that handled my account. He quickly assisted my company needs and made recommendations based on the information I provided him

Bloomberg does a better job with events in my sector. As far as ease of use, customer service I would go to Deltek GovWin IQ every time. I would like to see additional areas added that would increase my usage so I don't need to use multiple tools. Such as contacts and events

• Positive, I was able to generate about three more proposals a week
• Positive nice organization to establish a call list
• Nice structure, great way to target hot or cold leads. Great way to get your feet wet

• For my business, Deltek GovWin IQ provides a 1-stop resource for IT-related information about my major accounts. This saves me a tremendous amount of time & effort researching my accounts, identifying potential partners, and searching for updates to the relevant solicitations to my business.
