Likelihood to Recommend
From a strategy and marketing perspective I get a ton of use out of Deltek. It is my go to tool for looking for relevant content as I help identify our strategy and sales pursuits. This tools gives good insight into future planning capabilities along with current opportunities and contracts that we should be considering. I could use more contacts in the federal space that are relevant to my business. I see a lot of non relevant but when it comes to the AEC area we need more focused point of contacts at federal sites.
Return on Investment
  • I do not have tangible numbers for this as its part of a big picture and not as granular for me.
Alternatives Considered
Bloomberg does a better job with events in my sector. As far as ease of use, customer service I would go to Deltek GovWin IQ every time. I would like to see additional areas added that would increase my usage so I don't need to use multiple tools. Such as contacts and events.

It also allows me to prepare for upcoming opportunities and to better understand the our market. It also helps me to find all that I need to respond to opportunities

I use Deltek GovWin IQ daily to track solicitation activity (RFx, etc.) and competitors in my accounts, public news about my accounts, and investigate potential partner organizations for collaboration. I also attend many of their webinars which are full of actionable information about Federal-specific info (budgets, activities, etc.) and specific accounts. On several occasions, I have requested and received advanced training on how to take full advantage of the Deltek GovWin IQ capabilities. It's true that, along with our internal Salesforce system, I utilize Deltek GovWin IQ to most effectively manage my territory.
Pros and Cons
  • Tracks Federal Agency solicitation activities, providing frequent updates and links to important websites and documents. This has allowed me to have one resource that truly saves me time in gathering important account info needed for planning and reporting!
  • Webinars that provide budget and spending intel and actionable program information, both current and planned.
  • Advanced training for professionals who have the desire to pull any type of contracting-related information across agencies. Users can go as deep into investigations as they need or desire.

I always recommend to my fellow professional Salespeople that they use Deltek GovWin IQ for detailed account information to assist in building a relevant and actionable profile of their accounts. Especially if their customers are larger agencies, Deltek GovWin IQ is a must for saving research time! Tired of scouring through Exhibit 300's and 53's? Deltek GovWin IQ will provide most of the important takeaways on focused IT programs, plans, and budgets in their agency-specific reports. Searching for updates and alerts on solicitation timing? Deltek GovWin IQ provides up-to-date alerts on Federal accounts daily in a concise way.
Return on Investment
  • For my business, Deltek GovWin IQ provides a 1-stop resource for IT-related information about my major accounts. This saves me a tremendous amount of time & effort researching my accounts, identifying potential partners, and searching for updates to the relevant solicitations to my business.

  • TD SYNNEX (Tech Data + Synnex)
There is really no peer service to Deltek GovWin IQ. TD Synnex offers some similar agency-related reports but, to my knowledge, not the full depth and breadth of services offered by Deltek GovWin IQ.
