I researched both eFax and iFax, but ultimately went with the iFax company. The level of technical support and the efficiency of the sales team impressed me and really helped make my overall decision. I want a product that is powered by real people that I can easily talk to …
iFax is free depending on the number of faxes you are sending. Bu the paid plans are reasonable and affordable. I have not used any other fax software, I do not know how ifax stacks against the competition but based on what I have seen, ifax will give them a run for their …
the services were honestly the same but efax forces you to add a credit card so that they can charge you once a month in order to get their free trial. I only sent one fax with efax this year and canceled immediately. at least with ifax I can send one small document per month.
I prefer iFax because they have a genuine free version account, which is perfect for my business right now. I've used eFax in the past, but only for their trial period. Even the lowest paid plan with eFax was unnecessary for my level of usage and it didn't make sense for me to …
For the daily faxing needs, eFax gets the job done. We get notified when the fax has been received or sent successfully, but it takes so long at times. I'm not sure if it's eFax's encryption system that is delaying the Rx/Tx time, but it needs to be improved immediately.
iFax is the best for people who need to submit documents to government agencies and offices that don't use email as a means to sends pdf files and other forms of documents like word, excel, etc. It is best for those who only need to send less than 5 pages of documents to the recipient.
The user interface could use some work, as it's a little dated looking, and it's not so simple to receive faxes, at times.
Administrator functions. If the user's account is locked for any reason, the administrator cannot unlock their account. It causes a lot of inconveniences.
Unable to see the bill. For whatever reason, eFax does not allow viewing the bill from the online portal.
For our logistics side of the business, we use eFax to receive orders. We are using it to transmit a variety of documents as well. It comes in handy if you really need to accept faxes.
eFax support is great. They are quick to assist you with any issue regarding eFax. I haven't had to wait long on support services or answers. During an outage seems to be when the queue times get long but on a normal day, they are quick to answer and fast on a solution.

Having faxing capabilities makes my company look more professional.
It is helpful to have faxing capabilities to better communicate with other providers as well as insurance companies, however I have only noted a small ROI at this time.
With faxing capabilities my referrals have increased from providers.
