If you need to have agile web design and easy editing, then Elementor is the way to go. You run into trouble when you need super custom solutions, or when you combine it with certain plug-ins that don’t play well. This is on a case-by-case basis, and can often be solved by high-level programmers.

If you are a WordPress development shop, or host a number of WordPress websites, this is for you. Even if you only have one website but are looking for an easy way to make updates, schedule backups and keep track of the maintenance of your site, this would be a great tool. The cost is reasonable and it saves time, while adding peace of mind with "Safe" updates.

Pros

The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. Each of the blocks is laid out in a very standard way. This makes learning Elementor pretty quick. There are a lot of advanced features that take longer to become familiar with, but for solid basic design, it is easy to learn.
Elementor is quite capable of building nicely designed fast sites. It also has excellent Mobile capabilities allowing a designer to make sure the look on Tablet and Phone are as well designed as the desktop version.
Elementor works well with virtually every Theme out there. However, to go a step further, there are quite a few Themes that are built specifically to work with Elementor.
This is not something that Elementor does, but I need to mention that there are several Block sets out there that are made for Elementor and expand the design capabilities.

Cons

If you'd asked me a year ago where Elementor could improve, this list would be easy, now, not so much. The product develops at a phenomenal rate with new features consistently being rolled out. Support has improved DRAMATICALLY and is really world class at this point.

The reports could be prettier, more templates in order to avoid having to customize for each client so heavily.
It would be nice to see if recommended plugin updates are actually production and not beta versions.

Elementor is one of those website builders that is really easy to get started with. The drag and drop features make it easy to create attractive and creative webpages for even the non-website designer. Some of the features available are not easy to find or easy to discover when you first start using Elementor. Practice makes perfect.

There support is slow and at times can be frustrating and this is why many prefer to air out their frustrations within the Facebook group community. I tend to give up as when I'm working on something and something goes wrong I need the help straight away. I do not have the patience to wait anymore.

Alternatives Considered

Elementor is superior to other page builders I have used previously, including Divi and Beaver Builder, and are easier to use than hosted options I have previously used, including Squarespace and Wix. It allows for more flexible designs for advanced users and a more intuitive interface for complete beginners. It is full of great features, widgets and premade templates that are great to use for users of all levels.

Prior to ManageWP, we utilized InfiniteWP, a free (with paid extensions), self-hosted alternative. We found the interface to be unwieldy, and the paid extension pricing to be a bit confusing. The headache of maintaining the software and server infrastructure to run the platform, overshadowed the cost savings for us.
