eVoice vs. HotTelecom vs. Vertical Wave

If you are looking for a strong product that is highly customizable, Onebox is a great choice. It can be difficult to navigate, but almost every feature you would need is included somewhere.

When our clients or partners call our corporate number they can now reach any needed employee or department by themselves. It is simple - they just need to use voice assistant and press the needed number.

The system does more than I've even had the pleasure to implement. I appreciate the staff and the system. It's stable and dynamic enough to meet any companies needs.

• System uptime is tremendous, I almost forget it exists on my server rack.
• Desktop software is very easy to learn, I can train new receptionists within a few minutes and they don't have to memorize extensions or rely on a sheet of numbers
• Call recording works well, I am able to find calls based on a number of criteria and it finds the calls fast and I can easily export them for use.

• The scheduling is very granular, but the interface for setting up the schedule isn't the easiest to navigate.
• I would like the ability to copy or clone schedules. We have 3 different schedules on three different hunt groups and when there are changes to be made, I would like to be able to make the change on one schedule and copy that for another hunt group.
• The interface for the users to change some of their settings (password, phone, email, etc) isn't very user friendly. I usually have to walk users through changes, and at that point, it is easier for me to just make the changes myself.

• There are a few interfaces for working with the system and it can be daunting to learn
• They charge quite a bit annually and if you miss an update they charge you additional fees to catch up.

I was not an employee when Onebox was selected, but I have used Avaya and Nortel PBXs in the past and while it is not as powerful, it has a lot of great features and a much lower cost of entry.

• We've got the option to use another marketing channel with HotTelecom's SMS virtual phone numbers. They also provide us with an ability to count everything in marketing campaigns made with SMS numbers and to make the right decisions based on the received data.

• Good call tracking and automated systems allows for less staff and accurate metrics
