Fireflies.ai vs. LivePlan

It does the job really well. They were one of the first on the scene and have continually improved overtime. It's crazy affordable, I'm always surprised when I see the $5 monthly charge compared to other apps I pay more for and use a lot less.

All businesses require solutions and tools for organization and control of expenses, spreadsheets were always the first option, but since the arrival of LivePlan, all work is easier and more automated. With LivePlan we have charts and graphs that are automatically created based on our data, this is a great time and money saver. LivePlan is a tool that has worked from day one and has met our expectations in creating the total budget.

• Helps in transcription & take notes.
• Listening to the meeting is very easy.
• Can be integrated into other various software.
• They also provide the option to download the meeting and the option to like & dislike the recording.
• And I love their soundbites features which I can use to highlight the specific part of the recording for future use.

• It makes it easy and simple to plan and budget the business.
• It allows creating of accurate business forecasts.
• It has detailed yet easy to use and customize built-in templates to help you get along with business planning easily.
• It integrates and works perfectly well woth accounting tools like QuickBooks such that it is easy to import the accounting data.

• Would love to see the formatting of the summary when I download it look better. The headers are usually far too large and I end up reformatting each summary into my preferred format, layout font, etc. If there’s a way for me to preload, what my preferences are, that would be fantastic so I get a fully complete document without having to do much manipulation after the fact.
• I have my settings, correct but Fireflies.ai doesn’t always attend every Zoom meeting or every teams meeting. It does about 90% of the time, but there is a 10% failure rate which causes us a huge problem for me.

• UX: It's beyond time for an overhaul, especially on mobile. It can make the app seem dated.
• The accounting software integration has been prone to break and need to be re-setup, though that seems to have improved.

Given that I work in sales, it is one of the must have tools for the sales team. It helps us understand and review our calls anytime, anywhere. Access to the recording is easy for sales agent as well the team. Summary and transcription saves the time and manual work

Fireflies.ai is made for meetings — that’s its main function — so it doesn’t include fancy features like video editing. If you need to record a podcast, it’s better to use Descript. Google Cloud is a good choice if you already have an audio file and need a very detailed transcription. Fireflies not only helps with transcription, but also with summarization and distribution. So while all three tools offer similar features, if you need a meeting copilot, Fireflies performs better.

We did not really find a similar solution. All other solutions are focused on project management, [there's] nothing on generating a business plan. There is nothing on this level that helps people without any business experience write the plan. They have samples, instructions what to write where, how to prepare for pitching, and generate dashboards. Nothing in this market gets anywhere close to this solution.

• The cost is very affordable and getting ROI for it happens within the first meeting.
• My clients appreciate the quick turn on having an action plan in place for them.
• I like having a catalog of meetings I can reference to see the client improvements.

• It has made it easy to create sensible budgets and run our business within the proposed budgets to avoid overspending.
• It allows us to keenly follow up and keep track of how the business is performing thus getting to know on which ares we should improve.
• It helps us have accurate future insights of the position of our business thanks to its forecasting functionality.
• It helps us to create outstanding business plans and fund the plans which help us grow our business by improving its productivity.
