Formstack Documents vs. OneSpan Sign

[Formstack Documents (formerly WebMerge) is] well suited for a mid-size organization that has multiple data inputs and needs to provide structure and professional document generation. As helpful as it is, the cost would prevent smaller businesses from realizing the cost savings that a larger one will.

OneSpan Sign is suited to many professional business situations. It is well used by the legal, security and compliance teams as well as many people within the financial functions. A lot of businesses have become very agile, and require a paperless environment to working. There are some companies and businesses who would prefer paper documents to be signed, which would not work as well as the paperless versions. I would use it in many different scenarios where I would prefer to have a paperless transaction

• Excellent integration with other popular platforms
• Clear and usable documentation to walk through setup in a number of scenarios
• Responsive support that provided appropriate answers when we had questions
• Flexibility in use cases that support multiple modes of use

• One can set up a workflow in which one can specify the order in which signatures have to be done.
• Customer service is great and always ready to go the extra mile.
• Pricing is very transparent, and there are no hidden charges.

• We've had some issues with document formatting when the Formstack document comes through. Nothing outrageous, but it has been very inconvenient and annoying.
• The Formstack website is not attractive or user friendly.
• I think it could be clearer to Formstack users that it is a tool that needs another tool, not a tool all its own.

• Search capabilities can be improved by a great extent. We still can't search documents by name of the signatory
• Pricing seems a bit high when compared with other players in the market
• Data importing and exporting capabilities can be improved drastically

Ease of use, nice functionality that saves time

I don't see any reasons to change as their solution covers all my need for now. I could make even more integrations but that might be something that I will do down the road. I'm used to working with the interface and my data is all there as well.

Support was always readily available and happy to assist whenever I had a question or needed help. Great experience every time.

The product is so well designed and built that we rarely need to reach out to customer service. But we have reached out to them in case of downtime, and we have always gotten a satisfactory response. We never had to follow up, as customer service executives were very responsible.

Each of the programs above answered a specific call to action. While each addressed a small portion of our need, they never quite fit the bill for what we needed. It was actually a representative from three of the ones above which selected WebMerge. They wanted to sell their product, but knew that we would be unfulfilled if we went with them

My experience with OneSpan in the customer service has been very positive. However, since my experience with OneSpan is much more recent, most of my technical experience with OneSpan includes technical areas that were not available in other products at the time I was working with other products.

• The return on investment has been very good. It's very cost effective product. Our service team is on the phone and it takes away from the customer service if they are having to input the same information on applications. Web Merge eliminates additional key strokes while giving customers more time to run their business.

• It has done what we got it for. It has made it much easier for our advisers to do business with clients in remote areas.
• It has significantly reduced the time that it used to take to open a new account.
