Overall Satisfaction with OneSpan Sign (formerly eSignLive)

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have integrated this tool with our account opening process. When the financial advisor is done doing the data entry in our system and generates the forms package, we use OneSpan to get the package electronically signed by the client(s) and the advisor.

We also use this tool on ad-hoc basis anytime we need a group of advisors to sign some documents electronically.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Very good API set.
Great documentation of the APIs.
Good support from the tech team.

Cons

They have changed the name of their company 3 times in last few years.
Sometimes changes were made that were not communicated very well.

Return on Investment

It has done what we got it for. It has made it much easier for our advisers to do business with clients in remote areas.
It has significantly reduced the time that it used to take to open a new account.
