GlobalMeet Collaboration is great for giving product trainings, presentations and webinars over the phone to a wide number of users remotely. It is well suited for meetings where screens and documents need to be shared live during a conference call for easy collaboration

Well suited for both our workplace and virtual meetings, especially when people are not in one place. It is also more appropriate with audio, visual, and captions. It is also more appropriate to send a recording to your drive for reference on parts that a host may not have captured.
Something that GlobalMeet does well is distributing a meeting to users. The system integrates well with our Outlook system and allows easy meeting distributions.
GlobalMeet is good at providing an easy way to record web meetings. The feature works well and is easy to download after.

The admin can change the role and make anyone as admin of the current session.
Even if the meeting gets disconnected due to network in the admin's side error still it remains running on the user's side.
Multiple people can share screen together at the same time.
The admin can make the meeting open to all so that every time someone joins the admin does not have to allow them one by one. Once it's open, all can join without permission of the admin.
There is a cost for the conferencing services unlike competitors like FreeConferenceCall.com or Skype which have free options. However, you pay for what you get and the audio/connection quality can and has been an issue for us with other vendors.
There are a lot of shortcuts that can be used on the line to mute/unmute lines, record the audio, request operator assistance, etc. However, these are difficult to memorize so we end up forgetting or relying on a print-out of the shortcuts that we keep near our desks. I wish there was an easier way to use these such as voice commands.
In the post-conference email recaps you get the phone numbers of those who dialed in. However, it can be difficult to know who these numbers belong to unless you remember the direct #s for the participants. I wish there was a way to save contact info for certain phone numbers within the system and let GlobalMeet add the names to the numbers for all future post-conference emails.
One major one — I always say that we cannot send attachments during the meeting. Teams has that, so I believe Google should add that as well. Because you can have the conversation in the messages, but you can’t provide a file. So let’s say I have a technical conversation with someone, and I want to share a document, like an architecture diagram — I cannot send it. We have to use Gmail or Drive for that. It can be integrated for sure, so that’s an improvement that definitely can be done.

GlobalMeet is not a very good tool. There are better web meeting platforms available in the marketplace. The system is clunky, not intuitive, and experiences often technical issues. They have made updates recently but it is too little too late. It may be a good platform for smaller organizations with tighter budgets.

This app is still having a lot of redundant features as compared to other industry apps such as Zoom and Webex which offers much more on the functionality side along with the option to have greater user access control to the admin/host of the meetings. A sense of interaction is always found to be missing in Google meet which can be easily adopted in the Zoom
I have provided such a high rating because setting up the meeting only requires a few clicks. Within a couple minutes of telling my team that I will set up a meeting and send an invite, that invitation is already sitting in their inbox. I move at a fast pace and GlobalMeet is keeping up

Google Meet is very easy and simple to use. I can schedule a meeting right on my calendar - it literally takes a few seconds. There is no additional app I have to open to schedule anything. Guests can click on the link easily to join any meetings. 10/10!

For the most part GlobalMeet loaded everything quickly. The only problem that we had was when the whole company was on a training at one time, we had a hard time with screen sharing and the pages loading in a timely manner. Everything seemed to slow down when lots of people were on the system at once

As previously mentioned, I was in charge of facilitating a weekly meeting with 60 attendees. I had major issues with the screenshare crashing repeatedly during the meeting. I got in contact with a GlobalMeet Technician immediately. He was extremely responsive and worked with my technician to resolve all of the issues quickly. After his intervention, I never had the same issue again.

Google does a great job of providing tech support for this product, as it does many others. Similarly, Google has FAQs that cover a large amount of issues faced by users. Problems have not persisted in our use of this product. Problems are resolved quickly and easily, with or without personal Google support.

Our small non-profit organization appreciates the ease of use of the platform for conference call needs. Other platforms can be much more complicated for users unfamiliar with conference call technology. We use it several times a month for committee meetings, regional rep check ins, and meetings with our board of directors.

I use Microsoft Teams, but obviously Google Meet is much better than that because there are some challenges which I see as part of this. One of the main pros that I see here is that in Google Meet, whenever you have all those recordings as part of the Google Suite, you have those recordings stored in Google types. So that's the same Google product and everything stays in the same thing.

I wasn't involved in the unit pricing factor. So far I used Google meet in the office where I got access to all these Google applications including the Google Meet feature. So I wasn't involved much in this pricing factor of Google Meet and also regarding the contact terms of the product.

This is very good in the professional services as I started using this first for the professional service only. While using this Google Meet itself gives a professional feel as the UI works in a professional way. The video background modification, multi-screen feature, and some other features help in professional service.
The price for webinar for GlobalMeet is quite pricey compared to other similar vendors.
GlobalMeet can be used for unlimited free calls and video conferencing, hence in our company with extensive global calls this platform is very cost-effective.
Unlike most conferencing software. Other users don't have to download GlobalMeet App and therefore it is easy to send meeting invite to clients.
Attentively support system that responds fast to queries and this saves time for us.

It's definitely the way that we engage with our customers and each other. So I think it's really good that it can help you bring remote people together and feel like you've met with them online. And then when you meet them in person you're like, this tracks, this definitely coincides with who I saw online. So it definitely is a really good platform to just bring people together, but remotely.
