Likelihood to Recommend Sage Intacct is well suited for most accounting needs, specifically journal entries, accounts payable/receivable processes and cash management. Intacct is also useful for budget planning and integration with financial actuals, as well as report writing to coincide with financial reporting processes on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. I'm not sure that Intacct has the capability to fully house a financial reporting process, but it is a great tool.
Read full review Nvoicepay is super helpful for organizations that want to run lean and have a lot of accounts payable going out each day/week/month. The cost of having Nvoicepay vs having an employee process payments for each of our vendors is a massive cost savings. I believe it would be less appropriate for organizations that are only sending a few payments each month or have a lot of recurring payments instead of unique bills each month. Recurring payments are easily booked and memorized in most accounting systems and setting up autopay takes care of having to actually make the transaction manually.
Read full review Pros Sage intacct will be useful in month end reconciliation by extracting all the required reports. It is helpful for viewing of any type/particular GL codes directly in the General ledger folder It will be helpful to apply the credit memos for a particular date Read full review Nvoicepay does a great job of pulling the invoices in from our DMS system on a daily basis so we can see what invoices need to be paid. NVoicepay allows for many methods of payment. They call all of your vendors for you and set them up on their preferred payment methods. NVoicepay takes care of all issues for you with the vendor. They make all of the payments once you initiate it in their system. Read full review Cons More "in your face" notice of added features that require being added to a user profile Clearer explanations of what is needed on importing sheets Go back to emailing office hours recaps for people that attended or signed up to attend Read full review Perhaps the most frustrating part of Nvoicepay is the reporting. Simply working through the filtering to find a transaction in the history is extremely difficult. If you don't select the filters in the correct order you will typically find zero results. The formatting for the upload is also a little tricky. Since you are uploading an excel file, any zip codes with leading zeros typically have the zeros removed and result in a failed upload. So having to place an apostrophe in front of any leading zeros is kind of pain especially when you have 100 plus lines of transactions. The main dashboard is also something to be desired. I understand the concept of providing the dashboard, but what use is it if I can't dig in and see what the numbers and graphs are made of? If Nvoicepay was able to hyperlink to the transactions that make up each category it would make the dashboard far more useful. Read full review Usability The ease of use as a seasoned user is wonderful; however, new users struggle to adapt to the program efficiently. Better training videos--all in one location--would be beneficial. The use of a "sandbox" environment is a great tool for new employees or for the fiscal department to test certain journal entries or other transactions to verify accuracy of data.
Read full review Reliability and Availability There has only been one occurrence where Sage Intacct was not available to me, however I had already been working a number of hours trying to get a project completed. It honestly allowed me to step back and take a much needed break.
Read full review Performance As fas as integration is concerned I don't feel this slows Sage Intacct down at all. However, sometimes I do feel it takes some larger reports more time to load due to all the detail. As well as, I "move very fast" in my motions so sometimes I double click on fuctions too quickly and the system seems to think that I have a duplicate request.
Read full review Support Rating Only a few times have we had to reach out to support, and every time we did, we received a relatively quick response and a solution was found fairly quickly. Only once was there an issue that took longer than a week to resolve, but it still did eventually get solved.
Read full review In-Person Training I have taken in person training classes at several of the annual Sage Intacct user conferences. It is very interactive and the trainers are very easy to follow and understand. They are great at getting everyone in the class involved. They also make sure everyone has learned to task before moving to a new one.

Read full review Online Training The free training is very minimal. For what we pay for the service, I would like more training. We end up training new users in-house because the provided free training is not nearly comprehensive enough. That being said, the training provided, for the material covered, was adequate and relevant for the given topics.
Read full review Implementation Rating I would not use a thrid party administrator to implement your system, especially if you are going to be modifying the system at all. Use Intacct implementors as they will be able to better support you on any issues that come up after you go live.
