- easily getting leads
- the simplicity of the tool
- predetermined criteria so you don't have to check a bunch of things every time

Not well suited for:
- value as it is rather expensive and has a high minimum
- speed, since it is real time the speed is very slow
- accurate look alike customers based on ideal customer profile

Terminus ABM Platform

If you're looking for a display advertising option, then Terminus is one of the major players - for better or worse. They source intent data from a third party (Bombora, I believe) so you have some targeting options available to you beyond company and position within. Advertising costs are in addition to the base contract price for their service so that's something to keep in mind if you're trying to work within a smaller budget. Since this is display advertising, the billing method is CPM (cost per thousand impressions). Their ad network does include the option to do Sponsored Posts with LinkedIn (although you can do that on your own honestly).

  • Salesforce Integration is very strong and works really well to get more leads or contacts
  • Simplicity = simply click a button and it searched pre-approved criteria fro more leads.
  • Volume of leads = has a number of different sources it pulls from so data volume is good.

Terminus ABM Platform

  • Terminus does a good job of tracking the activity around the ads we put into the marketplace and it helps us learn what works and what doesn't for our audience.
  • The site visit functionality is great. From here I can search for a prospect by name and see what pages they are looking at and the last time they were on there.
  • Getting a spike report for prospects that are enrolled in ABM campaigns each week allows me to set up my week focusing on those prospects that raised their hand.

  • Lead quality = the quality is poor and the number of direct lines is low since their partnership with Zoominfo ended.
  • Using Ideal customer profile in identification of potential other customers needs to be more accurate
  • Price is very high and contracts are inflexible
  • Since it is real time looking speed is very slow

  • Terminus has useful insight but it doesn't translate into actionable intelligence for all users.
  • Terminus could improve through proactive suggestions delivered at the point of consumption, which for most sellers is the CRM. Standalone data in a field is only useful if the user thinks to look for it.
  • Terminus might deliver some of the features above in their UI, but most users don't want to go a separate UI. It should all be in CRMs (for sellers and SDRs).

Brightfunnel is a very useful tool but can only be used to the fullest if your data is there. It is hard for organizations with bad data to fully utilize its abilities.

ZoomInfo is by far the best quality and highest # of direct phone numbers, Inside View is better for Account info and has great Salesforce integration

Terminus ABM Platform

Sendoso and Terminus are alike in that they both work to add "personalization" into Marketing. However, they are not competitors per-say. Sendoso personalizes the physical interactions (direct mail) while Terminus works on the digital landscape. I would say Terminus more competes with SEO or SEM, in which a user of Terminus is experiencing much less wasted dollars than that of SEM or SEO

  • Targeted advertising - knowing our ads were being seen by key accounts vs. the broader web
  • Web traffic - large increase in web traffic based on Terminus spend, which again felt great because we knew it was from key accounts
  • Message refinement - thinking about different groups/buckets helped inform our messaging strategy
