Maestro

Maestro is great for managing my membership and is terrific with reservations. At this time I am not sure if there is any scenario where it is less appropriate. I guess it doesn't work well as an interface for a golf shop, for tee times, etc. And, any golf product we get doesn't speak well with Maestro, so maybe golf. But, they may have a solution for that too.

This is well suited to give you a guideline of where your company is at and areas that can improve upon. This was our first year so I believe when we continue to use this it will show areas that we can still improve upon and areas that we have improved upon

  • Creating a completely customized rubric to grade tickets on the things you want to help your team grow in
  • Allowing managers to track how their agents are doing as well as providing concrete examples of work product for 1:1 meetings
  • Giving management peace of mind that agents are responding appropriately to clients

  • Quantum reporting was really easy to read and great for presenting to upper management.
  • They also offered some great additional resources for an upcharge.
  • This software is customizable to your organization, which is great.
  • This software was very user-friendly for my employees completing the engagement survey.

Cons

Maestro

  • No ability to view contact information from a home screen (must click into profile to see phone number)
  • Feels a bit archaic
  • Would be nice to see "flags" or ways to mark students for calling
  • Wish that the 'attempted call' option turned a student yellow instead of keeping them red

Quantum Workplace Engagement Surveys and Pulses

  • I mentioned this to them after our last survey. The first year we did the survey the Quantum Workplace site provided us with detailed information on creating improvement plans, questions for employee focus groups and best practice information. While the site still provides information on creating an action plan, they removed the other information and haven't offered any new tips in the past two years. I would like to see them bring this back and update it each year so it is fresh and provides usable action items.

I did not have any problems with it. The ease of use was great. If I had a question about anything they would answer it immediately or within a timely manner. They also were one step ahead providing me with information that I would need to know or use. They provide a great product

I love Maestro support! They are always available or get back to you quickly. The employees that work at Maestro must get treated well because they are always positive and patient on the phone with me. And, even though I am not great with technology they always help me find a solution.

Very easy system to use. I also like how you can customize your survey to work on certain areas you feel are important at the time. They also provide you with a list of questions you can select from as well as implement any custom questions you feel would be beneficial

Alternatives Considered

Maestro

We selected Maestro over Qualitista and some hacked together Google Sheets scripts that performed similar functions. At the time Qualitista was in its early alpha stage and wasn't something that would have worked for our team. The Google Sheets script worked well for a small team, but didn't allow us to do what we wanted with peer feedback. The team at Maestro did a great job onboarding us and adding features for our peer feedback use case.

Quantum Workplace Engagement Surveys and Pulses

We selected Quantum Workplace for three primary reasons:
  • Greater database of survey responses from more organizations and employees (strong benchmark universe)
  • Automated tools to create department level executive summary presentations
  • Prior experience with Quantum via Best Places to Work survey
And, finally, the pricing was very competitive, although not necessarily the lowest.

Return on Investment

Maestro

  • At one point our step pricing was not working properly so we did lose some room revenue. Maestro helped us get this resolved.
  • Maestro saves time, which saves money, by having all of our member billing, reservations and more in one location.
  • No other impacts that I can think of.

  • We are seeing a direct correlation between reduced employee turnover, and department productivity, for those departments that use the survey cycle and important follow up steps.
