Likelihood to Recommend Majestic is a really great tool if your company is spending considerable resources on ongoing SEO efforts. In general, Majestic isn't for beginner SEO users, but a more advanced tool to get into deep SEO tactics. I would recommend this for agencies that have a significant investment in SEO. If you're a small team or a small business looking to improve SEO for yourself or company, there are platforms that offer a variety of tools for new to moderate expertise.

RIO SEO will help syndicate your information and their robust toolkit will help those types of businesses be successful online. Their all in one dashboard lets the user control every location without having to log in to multiple dashboards to make a change in Google, then Bing, then Yelp, etc.
Read full review Pros I like Majestic's own metrics Trust and Citation flow, that are very representative of the real value of the website and it's potential effect on the rankings of the website it's linking to. Also, theme (topic) of the website is very useful in the backlink report. This allows to easily identify backlinks relevant to your business. The index of number of backlinks that is provided by Majestic is usually a lot bigger than the indexes of their competitors. Lost link tracker is very useful for tracking dropped links of your projects (you can verify and track multiple domains). This allows to keep track on how many of your ads and articles stay live and sometimes we contact publishers to tell them that their changes on the website (i.e. updates) caused our article or link to go down. Their support staff is beyond amazing, hands down the best support I've gotten from any company in any industry. The proactively find issues and bring them to our attention so we can work with our clients on getting results. The renewal process is painless and they help us with reporting to build a case for renewal and retaining the client. Read full review Cons Its API for developers and big companies sometime don't give the actual data. Rank tracker is not 100% accurate, but you can create a rough estimate by the report. Backlink history is also missing some links, but I found them mostly. Sometimes site explorer does not give the actual report, so you should check manually too. Keys/legends in the sidebar and in exports to help explain what different sections are for the "laymen" that aren't in this industry 24/7. Having a "suggested changes" like what Moz.com/local has in their backend for photos/additional categories. Something that can help the user be more proactive rather than "here's where you're at" a "here's what you can do to improve" would help. SEMRush and MOZ can get you somewhere, but in the right hands, a tool as powerful as Majestic can do a lot for a business's link building strategy.

Nowadays we are working very efficiently without any help.

SEMRush in my opinion which also lacks being able to look at links from a range of dates. Their metrics are harder to fool when compared to
Moz and I would say that AHREF's is a good competitor but each company keeps their own index of links so its good to use more than one tool

Read full review RIO SEO is heads, shoulders, the entire body, ahead of Local Market Launch. We used Local Market Launch before RIO and it was one of the worst years of my life. The support was non-existent, their syndication was lackluster and they messed up our contracts enough times to frustrate us and the clients. I cannot express in enough words my disdain for that service and how much of a refreshing change it was to work with a company like RIO that cared as much about our client success as we did.

Although, Majestic has improved our insight into our digital content, giving us data to work with on the primary site, which has led to an overall increase in organic search. Read full review They have helped us retain several big clients over the years which in turn has helped bring in several other clients. Their tools allow us, a small boutique agency, to operate like a big agency. Our local listing clients have been much happier with our switch to RIO which has allowed us to focus on other areas for them instead of just the syndication. Read full review ScreenShots
