Likelihood to Recommend As a virtual collaboration tool its awesome- Every team meeting we have, the relevant miro board is opened and actively added to. As a final design tool its not so good. Its limited in what can be built within Miro. (I don't feel thats the intention of the tool)
Read full review When you need to create a private, secure space for individuals to collaborate or work on a project together, SAP Jam does a great job at bringing people together and giving them a space to work together in. There are also great ways to provide learning opportunities (including sharing webinars or other educational content)
Read full review Pros Everything in Miro is shared and this makes it easy to keep everyone updated. Communication in Miro is excellent, allowing a free flow of information among the team members. Has top-notch diagramming and mapping tools to visualize ideas and plans. Offers easy ways to share screen and whiteboards during presentation. Very secure keeping all team communication and data safe. Use of advanced automations to speed us diagrams. Read full review Easy to setup. Template-based group creation. Permissions are either inherited or set at the group-level by group owners. Read full review Cons I'd like to see the ability to link data or cards between boards to create dynamic dashboards An auto locking feature, or a feature to lock everything that is not a notecard to prevent accidental movements Being able to see the layers or create layers rather than just send to back or front - this could be improved Adam Wint Trends + Futuring Engagement Manager

I've tried PowerPoint, Word, and other programs, but when collaborating virtually on how to improve a process, Miro has all of the tools and more to enable successful mapping. The colors, different types of shapes and text books, along with the ability to integrate different documents and other functionality, make it ideal for this purpose. In a virtual world, it's a must-have.
Read full review We are moving toward other platforms that are meant more for virtual community, like
Higher Logic . The customer support at SAP Jam is also lacking.
Read full review Usability It's pretty easy to use. My gripes are with some small idiosyncrasies with selection behavior with objects and editing text. When I move an object, it automatically de-selects it when I am not done with it. I have to click to select again. Text control is challenging and could be improved. It could use a little more styling capability. It's also weird that it behaves differently in a shape then when using the text tool.
Read full review It's an integrated platform that brings together a lot of different people from across the association to work on shared projects, etc. Given the various roles people play and the varying skill sets they bring to the table, the platform is fairly intuitive to use and easy to navigate around
Read full review Reliability and Availability I only give a 9/10 because of the speed at which it loads. I have never experienced issues with Miro logging me out early, or some other technical issue causing the program to crash, or even it just loading in perpetuity without ever actually coming up (unlike other programs such as SFDC). It take a minute for all of my boards to come up after I click on it in my favorites, but besides that, it's all good.
Read full review Performance I took the loading quickly to be related to availability which I commented on before, so ditto with those comment on load time here. Although to reemphasize, Miro doesn't crash or just refuse to load like some other programs. The weak point of Miro for me is integration of files like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint (especially the later two). When you embed these, it gets slow, and complicated to bring them up while you're in the application.
Read full review Support Rating The support staff at Miro are fantastic. Whenever I have had an issue, they have been timely and helpful with their response. They are also very knowledgeable and go out of their way to not only help, but offer proactive training sessions on different topics and new functionality so everyone can try it out.
Read full review We have to submit requests multiple times to get a response and it often feels like they go into a black hole. Because we don't have anyone in house really supporting the back-end of the platform, we rely on SAP Jam's support and development teams to help solve problems and improve the platform for us.

Read full review Online Training Superb. very well explained videos. Really helps get the knowledge up on the product. The slides are divided into the topics of usage. I have enjoyed following and implementing all of these slides. The videos are well explained and it is easy to follow. There are tutorials that you can take yourself later. It would be nice however if more training modules were added.
Read full review Implementation Rating The key aspects about implementing Miro that really made the entire implementation journey so smooth was how it integrated swiftly into our existing working infrastructure which included direct integration with most of the products we were already using. Customization of Miro to match the specifications of our needs was also easily possible.
Read full review Alternatives Considered I prefer Miro over all, but then will use certain tools for specific use cases: Lucid - process work Menti - interactive polling and facilitated sessions
UserVoice - crowdsourcing Trello - kanban boards (although Miro is pretty good with this too)
Slido - live polling and facilitations.
Read full review We utilize many products in the SAP universe of solutions. Not only was JAM feature-rich and matched our company needs, but the tight integration with our other SAP product lines makes admin as well as usability seamless. While other competitors to JAM offer more features that rely on real-time, most of our use cases were asynchronous.
Read full review Scalability Miro is great for scaling. In every department and subdivision across my entire organization, there is someone using it. From Sales to marketing, to manufacturing and operations; and even in legal and finance, there isn't a process or a department that is not using Miro, and if they aren't, they're missing out! Even at the highest to the lowest levels of the organization, it is essential for virtual collaboration.
