Nearpod vs. Sandler Training

Nearpod is great for teachers who want data to help gauge how engaged students are during lessons. Additionally, teachers in one-to-one schools can better use these tools with a lesson delivery system like Nearpod. Nearpod is especially effective when a presenter has to deliver information to a large class.

Sandler Training is very well suited for ALL discovery calls, and deal progression calls. We are always focusing on pain, and how we can help solve a customer's unique challenge/problem Sandler is sometimes less effective when it comes deep into negotiation, BUT the important thing is that Sandler skills at the beginning of a conversation will help negotiation points towards the end of a sales cycle (but sometimes Sandler is too rigid, at the end)

• Provide timely and individualized feedback.
• Allow for the teacher to check for understanding, for the entire class, in one view.
• Present an array of different interactive lesson items, at the fingertips of every student.

• Gives our team a nice framework for how to communicate with prospects
• They came out and did in person training which was really nice to be able to role play in person. We're so tired of doing trainings over Zoom
• This framework is very effective for gaining trust with prospects and reducing ghosting

• I would love Nearpod to have more free activities.

• One Sales methodology will not be enough to be able to handle all client interactions. At times additionally methodologies like Challenger can be use to help sales people be effective.
• Can be difficult to access live sessions outside of UK and US
• Sandler Training Sales certifications generally come at a seperate cost to the training

While there is some learning curve to fully understand and know how to lead a lesson with Nearpod, once mastered successfully, Nearpod lessons are simple to create and deliver. When leading a lesson, it is relatively simple to see how everyone in the class performs and how well they participate and understand.

The support staff for Nearpod is top-notch. I have not had technical issues, but I did have a concern about my bill and they reached out to me nearly immediately to address the problem. I was very satisfied with how they handled the interaction from beginning to end. They did a great job.

I don't know of a product off hand that does what Nearpod can do. Between the library of pre-made lessons, the ability to create your own lesson content, the ability to add interactive content, Nearpod offers a unique engagement platform for instruction

We haven't used much else that compares to Sandler. We use different tools to assist us with training reps. One tool we use now is Outreach Kaia. It lets us listened into conversations with clients and teach reps with out having to tap into the line right at that moment

• The impact is awesome. It gives students a digital option other than PowerPoint for presentations.
• The feedback tool allows you to follow students in realtime.
• The shallow learning curve made it easy encourage other faculty to try it.

• Huge improvement in our sales organization in terms of having standardise training
• Better attainment rates (over 100% average rep attainment in the last couple of years)
• Manager attainment by having better teams, improved PPR metrics as well (unfortunately those are private for now)
