Proliant vs. Workhuman

Overall, I would generally recommend Proliant to a colleague as I think the system and structure has great bones and is generally very easy to use. However, if a colleague was needing a system with a robust reporting system or access to immediate support, I would be less likely to recommend the system.

It is definitely very well suited for cases like how my company uses it (which is a platform to celebrate colleagues and peers within the company, public or privately—depending on your choice). It feels good to write a review on someone I care about and want to celebrate. Maybe it would be less appropriate if the reviews were to be mandatorily public, but I don't know if that even exists.

• Globoforce helped me write kind electronic thank-you notes that came through to their inboxes in great, simple formats
• Globoforce was great in showing clear options on what exactly I could use the eGift Card for from doing a great job on certain projects

• Reporting is limited to data that is pulled by pay period--not by date worked, so if trying to determine how much an employee earned during a quarter--you have to calculate this manually
• Employee records are limited to admin only viewing--so managers can not see payrates, upload documents to employee files or update expiration dates to licenses, etc
• User guides in the knowledge base are out of date and don't cover the recent updates to the system--or outline processes that are no defunct
• Limited integrations with other HR platforms are available. Ex--outside ATS, candidate assessment tools

• In my experience, current prepaid cards for cash and his platform has the worst support and compatibility for Mexico establishments and commerce hance it is limited the use for Mexico.
• I think there are too many steps to submit an award
• In my opinion, we need to refresh and offer more products and services compatible to redeem credit earn on platform

Proliant is pretty easy to maneuver and get used to. There are some things than can be tedious but nothing too difficult where you have to spend hours to get it to work. The payroll processing is pretty straightforward and that's the core reason why we use their software.

The system is straightforward to use. Only a few steps need to be completed to recognize someone for their hard work or contribution. However, a couple of areas need work: 1) A way to request points for recognition. Currently there is no way to do this 2) A way to easily send a recognition to anyone in the company.

The company has an in-house customer support team. They can be reached by email or phone. The response time is good and I do not have anything negative to say about them. The good thing is that the hours of operation are 24/7 so one can reach them anytime with questions about reward management.

Proliant is the only payroll software I have used, and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon. It gives me everything I need in simple, easy-to-use software. If I have questions they have quality customer service. I get calls weekly to change to other payroll services, and I don't consider changing because there is no need to change - I have everything I need here. Proliant does exactly the job I am looking for it to do.

me personally never used a different recoginition platform before using Workhuman. since i started working at my current company, Workhuman has met our company needs with its easy to use interface. strong focus on company values. it's been great fit for our culture and goals. we are excited to keep using the platform

• i am not able to give this information because I don't believe our firm fully uses Proliant
• I was just made aware of some of the benefits Proliant can offer through this survey
• The only negative is that when the "pre-wire" requirement was activated this year, we were not told ahead of time and it caused a lot of confusion and delay when we tried to process the first partner payroll in January.

• I do not think there is any negative impact. We had a homegrown rewards management tool. It was useful in communicating with employees.
• It was difficult to run reports in the past and we had to maintain accounts with different vendors. It was difficult as we could only work with a limited number of companies to obtain gift cards.
