Overall Satisfaction with Workhuman (formerly Globoforce)
Workhuman is our rewards management tool. It is being used by the entire company to reward a peer, subordinate or anyone else. Besides giving someone a monetary reward, the tool also has the ability to capture compliments and words of praise. It is a formal platform where you can recognize anyone who has done a good job.
Pros
- We can run reports to determine rewards usage by month, department, and other factors.
- Instead of maintaining different accounts with many vendors, it is all centralized.
Cons
- Workhuman is a good rewards management system, but it needs to be synced with other HR systems.
- Since employee data is maintained in 2 systems, there is a lag in obtaining real time information.
- I do not think there is any negative impact. We had a homegrown rewards management tool. It was useful in communicating with employees.
- It was difficult to run reports in the past and we had to maintain accounts with different vendors. It was difficult as we could only work with a limited number of companies to obtain gift cards.

The Workhuman representative was very prompt is replying to emails and suggesting alternatives. We felt there would be less of a learning curve in mirroring our current reward management processes by switching to Workhuman. It was a task to train the workforce, but the videos provided by the company were helpful. We did not need to create new documents on our own.
