Pure Chat by Ruby vs. Rebrandly

Chat is nothing new but the ease of use and functionality is key, that being said Pure Chat nails it across the board. We use the chat across our website and ad pages. Don't see a situation where this effective tool would be less appropriate, consumers want instant information and instant connection, chat provides both without being tied up on the phone

If you would like to dedicate a subdomain for a particular type of audience or campaign - a smart way of shortening links and wow factor is that for the free-tier itself there are 500+ links allowed - which is huge! Recommended for running outbound campaigns where subdomain won't mess up your data.

• Let's you specify the domain name to something meaningful.
• Can customize the short link name to make it clear what's it for.
• The process is quick and you get your shortened URL in seconds.
• Price is fairly reasonable, particularly if you manage a website with lots of pages that you need to share the links on.

• Transcripts that could generate in a PDF or Word doc rather than .txt file, option would be nice
• Chat is straight forward so not much room for improvement, we're happy with the service, functionality, and ease of use.

• The reporting feature is flat out awful. It would be great if there were just a dashboard where I could see stats and graphs with easily filterable views.
• The UI could use some polish in the dashboard.
• More sorting/filtering features when looking through links.

Prompt and informative responses. Whereas many of their competitors use automated responses that require significant wait times to respond, Rebrandly have a much decreased response time which is vital for any business that is juggling many different tasks at the same time. This aspect of quality customer service is one of the primary reasons that we choose to use Rebrandly, and will continue to do so.

Didn't see much pros and cons comparing Pure Chat and Olark. They all do the job. However, Pure Chat is free to use on basic functions.

Rebrandly is definitely aimed at the professional end of the market. Bitly has been around for a long time, but also overused and abused by bad actors. This can negatively influence a backlink profile in terms of organic search which an SEO professional simply can not afford. Using custom domains with Rebrandly, in conjunction with the unbeatable redirection speed means I'm getting far better and more consistent results compared to Bitly.
