Piper the AI SDR is perfect for a global marketing team who wants to have greater control over conversations that are happening on the website. She does an excellent job of qualifying leads and getting meetings booked. In addition she does an excellent job routing people to support and away from sales if that is not an area they are interested. There aren't many areas we have found Piper to be not appropriate. As we continue to hone in and improve her capabilities.

Rasa Pro is well suited for corporate use and for chatbots which require backend connections. Smaller chatbots with a few flows might be better served with a simple dialogue engine and custom AI agents, or Rasa Open Source. Rasa does not come with its own complex vector database, just in-memory FAISS and connectors to external vector DB's such as Milvus and Qdrant. It provides only a basic document parser and embedder for FAISS. If you need to build a RAG focused chatbot around a large knowledge base with complex documents, e.g. lots of MS Word or PDF files, you'll have to build a separate document parser and embedder, as well as your own semantic search engine

  • Piper the AI SDR can get tripped up when someone asks a question we weren't prepared for. Example Does the webinar cost money? Of course not but we didn't specifically put anywhere that it doesn't, and she can get confused
  • Piper the AI SDR can sometimes get overzealous and try do things she isn't able to like help someone download an ebook
  • There are some trigger limitations for email but we are aware it is on the features roadmap

Overall it's a great product with new features coming out quarterly. With the help from our CSM the setup time was quick and painless and we were able to seamless transition our sales team out of qualified. We immediately saw a simplification in terms of the amount of upkeep our operations team had to do to keep branch tree logic updated and could then pivot to just focusing on improving our responses within Piper the AI SDR.
