What is AccuLynx?

A production management software that helps roofing and exterior contractors manage their sales pipeline, create roofing estimates, schedules, oversee production, order materials and better understand the performance of their business. The roofing CRM specifically supports working in the Insurance Restoration, Retail Roofing, Residential Roofing, and Commercial Roofing industries. AccuLynx is a game changer

We use AccuLynx to manage our AR and to track our projects. We are still new to it but we use it to enter customers into the system, create quotes for them, and then eventually invoice them once they have been added to the books and we have completed the project. We have also been using them to track how much has been invoiced and how much we have closed. Its connected to our Quickbooks which makes it so much easier track payments when we receive them. Its also nice since it can track bigger projects with multiple invoices and track how much we have left. Our biggest issues in the past was being able to track payments and invoices. This i feel solves that problem and makes all of our quotes and invoices look so much more professional, especially since we are a smaller company. It makes us look bigger and more fine tuned.

Cons

  • Can't have email templates that can be altered per customer
  • Getting quote templates to be more flexible has been challenging
  • Running global reports have also been an issue as we are only 3 people and dont need it by sales

Return on Investment

  • We have been able to do a better job of following up with our quotes and that has added more jobs to our AR then in the past
  • I am able to track more accurately invoices and when they were sent out so we can follow up on late invoices
  • I can add notes to jobs easier so that we can reference back on items that we did not want to forget about

Great Product

AccuLynx is the CRM of choice at our roofing company. We use it full circle from housing all information for customers to putting together and sending the estimates to customers to project management and invoicing.

It is an excellent tool for communication as well as documentation. After using it for 11 yrs at the company I previously worked with I decided to use it at my roofing company and have not looked back.

Cons

  • I am not as fond of the new setup for the communications area. Might just take some getting used to.
  • Would like to see the mobile app have more versatility and ability. I do a lot on my phone as well so this would be helpful.

  • Very positive as we can put in what we anticipate needing and cost and see what margins the job is landing at based on what was purchased and needed.

Cons

  • add a bcc for all cards so I can send a normal email and it would get sent to the communications tap of my AccuLynx files.

Return on Investment

  • I am have had a hard time justifying AccuLynx since I am a small business. I hate all the add ons. I do not appreciate that all the good tools cost extra money on top of my monthly payment.

We use AccuLynx for all of our open roofing projects and it includes all of the features to track all work that is done and all invoices and photos we need to capture to accurately bill for each project and assess our own costs and profit. We also use it to communicate with all of our team.
