Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use ActivTrak to track productivity of our teams. We also use it to ensure that during work from home days, our employees are working during the proper times. It also helps flag when work computers are being used for non-work purposes.
Pros
- Easily provides real time tracking of employee computers
- Tracks the amount of usage per application. This helps us determine that applications value.
- Host monthly training sessions and showcases new updates. Makes it easy to stay informed.
Cons
- Simplification of labels - it can be difficult to navigate due labels having confusing names.
- I have teams in two time zones and I wish it was easier to navigate between the two.
- It would be nice to have different logins for team managers that just show them their team vs the entire org.
Likelihood to Recommend
Overall, I recommend ActivTrak. I think the pricing is very reasonable for all that you get. I like the monthly calls, they are well done and informative. I think there is a bit of a learning curve, due to so many tabs and confusing names for things. If it was a bit easier to navigate I'd recommend them more.
