Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak
We mainly use this to determine if workers are productive or not. It has helped significantly identifying the "Houdini workers" who appear to be busy but are either playing games or doing personal tasks during work hours. The system is very easy to use.
Pros
- Tracks whether applications or websites are business or personal related
- Capturing screenshots of users desktops for review
- User friendly interface, easy to teach non-tech managers
Cons
- Pricing module, sometimes for our use case having a minimum of 5 is too many.
- Live view, unless I have missed it, of the users screen in real time
- Email alerts
- The pricing is very reasonable for the data it provides
- It has helped us identify employees who are not working
- It has helped us identify employees that are working but are struggling
- It has helped restore confidence in some employees who were simply struggling with their tasks.

It has helped us retain employees who were focused on their tasks but needed help. It has also identified employees who were dead weight and simply using company time to do personal tasks and or other jobs.
It has helped us to be able to confirm our trust in remote workers to ensure they were actually doing work when working remotely.
