- Easy to manage as it has an orchestrator to manage the containers.
- Less costs and more flexibility with Fargate.
- Negative (tied to AWS, so could not easily integrate other tools like running a Redis cluster. Still, it works but not easily like Kubernetes.

- The uptime has increased user adoption for internal applications
- The pricing model has saved us a ton of money

Amazon Elastic Container Service - A Fully Managed and Highly Available Docker Clusters Manager on the Cloud
- We achieved minimum downtime.
- The autoscaling kept the performance of the services great.
- We saved money by running the workloads on AWS ECS in Fargate mode by having different settings for different services to save on the hardware configuration side as well as having scheduled tasks.

Elastic Container Service from AWS a no brainer
- It decreases the cost of deploying solutions compared to building our own EC2 clusters.
- Downtime due to upgrades on our applications was almost eliminated.
- Cost of integration with other services is smaller.

Amazon ECS - An elegant way to containerize your solutions
- We run 8 web applications (demo instances) on a single machine. At a particular time, no more than 3 applications run simultaneously. So, we keep only required containers up. This helps us to provision small EC2 machines without compromising performance.
- Overall Amazon ECS helps to have less number of dedicated machines as more than one solution can be deployed on a single instance. This reduces costs a lot.
