Increase engagement with Awardco

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We were manually tracking and awarding employees for birthdays and anniversaries and running through payroll. There was very little recognition besides that. We now have automated programs for birthdays, anniversaries, wellness and recognition. This has freed up time in our HR/payroll department. Payroll now only has to import tax details for our employees and all our programs are funded at the beginning of each year.

Pros

  • Platform is easy to use and looks great.
  • Constant improvements.
  • Lots of help to make our recognition program successful.

Cons

  • Budgets are still a bit complex.
  • Wish that you didn't have to pay for additional programs to add physical Awardco point cards.

Likelihood to Recommend

Great for increasing engagement. Awardco gives you all the tools. You just have to get your teams on board to really be successful.

You get what you pay for - it's good

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Awardco for employee recognition and to boost our culture. With Awardco, coworkers and leads can write posts about why a particular employee did well on a specific task or campaign. Along with words of encouragement you can also give gift cards or “award bucks” which are similar to money that the person can either spend on themselves or use to give other co workers awards. Awards do not need to be tied to gift cards or award bucks.

Pros

  • Loyalty
  • appreciation
  • Employee retention

Cons

  • Multi national
  • Ease of use
  • Flexible

Likelihood to Recommend

Awardco is a very well priced solution that allows for recognition, interactions and more. I think it’s well suited for small to mid sized companies who want to honour and recognize their coworkers but not put tons of bloat into a software to do so. It may be less appropriate if your company has employees in multiple countries or is over 200 people.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for different spiffs and incentives for our sales organization. It has been really helpful in motivating teams and individuals to work extra hard for an additional bonus. It also makes it a lot easier for us to redeem those rewards for actual Items and not just gift cards.

Pros

  • Easy to use point system for understanding how much you have to spend on different items.
  • Easy to use inventory system so you can explore different items and products that fit within your point values.

Cons

  • Maybe just more products...?

Likelihood to Recommend

It's great for teams looking to either provide additional incentives to their employees or for people looking to show gratitude or rewards for excellent performance. It's been really helpful on the sales side, but I can see It also being helpful in other departments or styles of teams. Big fan.

Awardco is Great

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Awardco to give immediate feedback to colleagues both peer to peer, management to his or her team, and even team members to his or her manager. Recognition can be done by anyone is the organization and can have a cash component or none. We often use it for special events to give larger awards out at the discretion of senior leadership as well. It has been well received by our staff and is very heavily used.

Pros

  • Customer Service
  • Uptime
  • Education
  • Technology

Cons

  • Budgeting can be tricky
  • More options for background pictures

Likelihood to Recommend

Perfect for a company that values peer to peer recognition and encourages management to recognize desired behaviors and outcomes. Great for everyday use and for milestones such as birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, etc. We have used it at award banquets as door prizes, Christmas parties as awards for contests, and at discipline specific training events for exceptional participation activities.

Awardco for the WIN!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Awardco as an incentive program for our employees. Its use has been adopted by the entire organization as a way to award employees for winning company competitions or for simply just doing great work in general. We used to have multiple ways to award employees, and it began to get a bit confusing as to which method to use. But now we just use Awardco and that has simplified our rewards program.

Pros

  • Every employee has an account.
  • There are multiple ways to use your points.
  • All points are stored in one place & easy to find.

Cons

  • I would love if I could award points as a manager.
  • Ordering Amazon products directly from the Awardco site does not come with tracking for your items.
  • The products ordered directly from the Awardco site take a really long time to arrive at your home.

Likelihood to Recommend

I have recommended Awardco to many of my colleagues already. It is extremely easy to use for managers as well as those they manage. For instance, we have a competition for individual sales by each team, and the winner of each round of competition will win a certain amount of Awardco points. This has been our go-to method for over a year now.

Service Recognition with Endless Options

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Komax uses Awardco for their milestone service recognition program. The program is used throughout our North America operations and the employees love it! It is difficult to determine what an employee would like for their service award, and Awardco takes the guessing out of the equation. Each individual has different needs and wants and allowing them to select their individualized award from thousands of items tells them you want them to select something they will use and enjoy.

Pros

  • Customer Service - Someone is always available and willing to assist.
  • Customer Satisfaction - They worked with me on the set-up of our program to ensure it worked the way we needed it to.
  • Cost-effective - We selected the dollar amounts for each level of service, which allows the employee to select one or multiple items - depending on their wishes.

Cons

  • I would like the system to be able to send email notifications to more than the employee and the HR Manager. It would be great if we could include the manager and the GM as well. Now I just forward the message to the others.

Likelihood to Recommend

Awardco has something for everyone. I have employees in a variety of age groups and some want to travel, some want a tangible item, and others feel like they don't really need/want anything so they choose a gift card so they can use it how and when they choose. Awardco allows that flexibility. Also, if the individual isn't ready to make a selection right away, they can save their points to use at a later time. If an individual would like to select an item larger than their award amount, they are not able to add dollars to their personal account, which may cause some frustration to an individual.
