The best voice quality for virtual meeting.

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cisco headsets are quite a game-changer in daily activities. We use this headset for internal team communication and for customer communication via virtual meetings. The old headsets we were using had poor sound quality and could not isolate background noise. With the Cisco headsets, we resolved all these problems by achieving very good voice quality, auto-background-noise cancellation, and an auto-mute feature.

Pros

  • Very good voice quality and noise cancellation.
  • Good battery.
  • Great integration with Cisco Webex.

Cons

  • It has limited customization for the sound settings from the app.
  • Does not come with dock charger.
  • Quite expensive.

Likelihood to Recommend

In my opinion, the headsets are well-suited for an environment with high background noise, and, specifically in open spaces, they allow you to isolate yourself very well during your call and to move around the deck without staying in your seat, thanks to the Bluetooth connection. I don't think it's less appropriate because it can be used everywhere.

Cisco Headsets The Cadillac of the Industry... If You Can Afford Them

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My team runs an internal support channel in the company, with dial-in support. Earlier this year, we retrofitted most agents with Cisco 562 wireless headsets to improve sound quality, make a better experience for the agents, and better streamline operations. The results were great; we improved internal associate happiness with support results, which is a primary KPI for my team

Pros

  • Super-clear sound quality
  • In-line audio controls allowing volume adjustment/muting
  • Excellent range from the base unit

Cons

  • Pricey - They are expensive!
  • Learning curve - Some advanced functionality requires training

Likelihood to Recommend

If an organization can afford them, these Cisco Headsets are market-leading tech in sound quality and background noise dampening. If an org has remote employees who need additional range, these Cisco Headsets are also ideal. Finally, if employees have any disabilities, the in-line controls are helpful in these situations, requiring little movement.

Cisco Headphones- Simplifying Communication Easy to setup Clear voice

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have used Cisco headsets for communication with team and clients. We have used it in our calls and Virtual meetings. The headsets earlier we were using was not having that sound quality and also some connection issues were there but with the help of Cisco headset, our this major issues have resolved and call quality are much better now. The Cisco headsets are majorly used by support, sales team and some internal team member as well in calls and meetings.

Pros

  • It is helping in noise cancellation. As we are working in open office space so there are much chances for noise while attending any call but by using Cisco Headset this issue is also resolved.
  • It has a great integration with Cisco ecosystem like Webex. The Cisco headset gets easily connect and you don't need to be in with extra setup and compatibility issues like if you are using cisco headset and the Webex app then it will connect automatically.
  • Cisco headset is very comfort while wearing for long hours. The padding is comfort.

Cons

  • Bluetooth connectivity can be improved - As it's the wireless model so sometime Bluetooth can be finicky when switching between devices.
  • The another areas of improvement that it has the limited customization for sound settings.
  • It has a limited cross platform support outside Cisco Ecosystem, it can connect easily with cisco product like Webex but has a limitations with third party tools.

Likelihood to Recommend

Cisco headphone is good for those whose work related mainly on call like sales and support guys, also it is good for open office space as well where it reduces the noise cancellation. Cisco Headset is not suited for that environment where people are switching between Non Cisco platform more frequently like Google Meet, teams

Next level productivity tool Cisco Headsets are a great asset

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In my organization, Cisco Headsets play a major role by allowing flexibility and mobility for my front desk co-workers, roles as receptionists, sales teams, NOC engineers, and warehouse staff are experiencing all the benefits using models such as Cisco Headsets 720 and 730. These models are capable of delivering high-quality audio while providing comfort and offering a long-lasting battery. Many of these areas no longer need to be configured to forward calls from their deskphone to their cellphones every time they leave the desk for some reason. This has fixed the problem of missing calls and reduced costs with PSTN calls.

Pros

  • High-quality audio
  • Ease to setup the connection with bluetooth devices
  • The battery life is really good

Cons

  • The cushion materials are good, but they could use some improviment.
  • The ANC of 700 series is good, but some times is not enough.

Likelihood to Recommend

For positions where mobility is key, places where people have to move constantly between areas, or for those who want to be reachable all the time, and missing a call is not an option. Of course that the need has to justify the investment, however is clear that Cisco Headsets improve the engagement and elevate the productivity.

Better sound quality for hybridwork

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our challenge as a company has always been to improve hybrid work for all employees. Whether working from home or in the office, there have always been complaints about the audio quality in calls or meetings with background noise or side conversations. Our old headsets didn't have the technology needed to deliver a professional user experience. So we decided to switch from headsets to robust and reliable technology that would solve our pain points.

Pros

  • Active Noise Cancellation
  • Manageable devices
  • Enhanced Microphones

Cons

  • Foam and Batteries replacement
  • Better comfort for wearing it for long periods

Likelihood to Recommend

Cisco Headsets are a good choice for scenarios where the office is always busy and isolation from noise and side conversations is necessary to concentrate on work. Scenarios that require prolonged use of hours of continuous use of the headset are not suitable as the products "hurt" a little bit.

Premium audio with quality features and simple to use

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We need great headsets with great features and controls for anyone. Also needed was the option for various connections, wired (USB) and wireless (BT) with noise cancellation and great audio so both sides can hear clearly.

Pros

  • Noise canceling
  • Controls
  • Options for all

Cons

  • Cost, it's very premium

Likelihood to Recommend

It's a great fit in various departments and all the options out there mean you can find an option for each case. You can use them either sitting down at a dedicated workstation (desktop or laptop/dock) and wired, or you can also use them wireless 'on the go' with computers and mobile devices.

Cisco Headsets Review

  • The microphone works well and has a nice docking/charging station

Cons

  • The Cisco Headsets are a bit bulky
  • The Cisco Headsets are not as comfortable over the ear

Likelihood to Recommend

Suited for meetings that are more intimate and require the use of a headset. Not great for longer meetings as it gets more inconvenient and uncomfortable.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As an Analyst working in a SOC environment, reliable communication is quite a critical part of our daily operations. Where I use Cisco Headsets primarily for real time collaboration with the customers or presentation which provides noise cancellations helps me to stay focused and maintain clarity in communication.

Pros

  • During critical bridge calls involving multiple teams, headsets deliver clear audio in a noisy environment with the ANC feature, which helps to reduce background chatter so that each member hears only the relevant conversation.

Cons

  • Seems to have limited compatibility with non cisco tools such as Zoom, Google Meet it underperforms
  • Price point is again on the higher end

Likelihood to Recommend

Incident bridge call with Noise cancellation and long wear comfort that it provides for longer duration calls hands free interaction while navigating dashboards.
